i have that problem also, but after the engine is warmed up, i dont get that "lag" anymore. i have installed e-manage, Adjustable FPR, and evo fuel pump. i still get the power loss at 5.5k

Hello brothers....Im using 3rd Generation 4AGZE(NO AIR FLOW CONTROL) since year 2000 until mid 2007.I've been examining all the problems that you're having like 5,500rpm power loss.emanage and so on..For those 5,500rpm problems.Its like that because 1)Stock charger(sc12) has limited power.2)Air Blow Off(ABV)has the control of the Charger.3)E-manage cannot solve the problem..

BUT

If brothers(you) are trying to UPGRADE UR RIDE.1)Find 1G supercharger at chopshop to improve the power.2)Ask pro's to bypass ABV but ur ride will boost w/o it.3)Improve Fuel System with E-MANAGE.Can confirm you get 6,500rpm Max mAx maX and whats more,max 170BHP ON ROAD.Im just share what i experienced before.Hope might get useful.

If you are using big crank shaft pulley or small charger pulley is common.summore you will feel power is weaker after it runs until 4,500rpm if im not wrong.ABV is the device locate near the right side of ur engine(Beside timing belt cover).ABV is some sort like air flow control,it will stop sc12 to go further once that amount of air inside is OPTIMUM.

1G fit nicely into stock 4AGZE engines.1G's intake and output piping is different so you must have sc12 piping to MERGE with 1Gs.Confuse right??Example:Once the pipe is cut into 2.one is head and another is tail.SC12 use tail and 1G use head.So u welding together sc12 tail with 1g head.

If you need an example,i'll TRY to find back my old photos to let you examine because im using different engines.

Both big crank pulley and small charger pulley also can use.But if u only need 1,i suggest crank pulley.

This is what i can get from my previous records.You can see got 1 piece of iron there,rite?You need to screw at the charger mouting.Thats is the only thing you need to mod.Im using oversize crank pulley so the boost can go up to 1.2bar.Stock should be 1.0bar.But warning:Oversize pulley will cause MASS AIR into the 1G and without ABV,no air will be release so think the worse.

What apexi intake is it?

Why are u using GL gearbox? I thought blacktop gearbox has better ratio.

What custom made clutch?

Im using S-Flow 2.5" in 4" out muffler. Any disadvantage thr compare to straight flow?

Bro..If your SC12 can boost 1.05bar then i suggest dont mod it,but if u want to remove 5,500rpm problem then try consider to mod the monster sc14 into ur ride.Trust me,the feel is FAR more different that sc12.Is just a normal Apexi intake la bro.Im using GL gearbox because it's cheap compare to blacktop gearbox.IF u want better go for 6 speed.Custom made clutch=using different cover mix with racing clutch plate.exhaust system:i tried 3 different inch and 2.35" is suitable for me.

Just take ur engine out and try to examine the sc14 and ur engines,it should be no problem.

Those 1G are custom-mod so i dont think people will sell.I got 1 set of my own,but is locate at KL
