AE100 or AE110

Taiko i m thinking of changing my car to ae100 or ae110(dunno correct or not-the model after ae100) wit blacktop engine... may i know i there any difference between these 2 models besides exterior n interior wise... like weight or chasis??? which 1 is better in terms of handling... thanks a lot...

If u check carefully, there's EE100 (1.3L carb) and AE101 (1.6L EFi). Production year between 1992 to 1995. Is this the model u looking for? not the squarish type yes? Corolla AE101 is not a very light car, weighs around 1050Kg - but with proper suspension setup it does handle very lovely and stay comfort at the same time - the chasis feels solid too. In fact all Corollas specially from AE92, AE101 and AE111 handles very well - once the suspension has been tuned up a bit (the standard setup is too soft). The bad side is that FF Corollas tend to Understeer quite a bit - but can also be re-tuned.

On standard trim, AE101 in Malaysia does not comes with 20V Blacktop or Silvertop - unless u can find a seller which have already transplanted them in.

thanks EFN... i dunno whether u still remember me or not... i drive a blue kelisa... let u modified to shortshifter... so the model u drivin is AE101? now i m confuse dunno which model to take... your type or the squarish 1... so i wan to c any big difference between these 2 models... but in terms of exterior your type is so much nicer... yup i m lookin for 1 tat comes wit blacktop... anything is 5 speed better or 6 speed???

another thing is whether black top is better or silver top is better??? i heard ppl saying tat silver top got a lot of problem...
