Hi guy,finally got the car last month.Recond 2007 Japan Spec.Gold. Overall condition of the car very good. made one mistake,did not check the front tyres. Felt the steering woble when test drive it but did not know how bad the condition was.(can see the wire cable) when went to change the tyres..hehehe. that was a lucky call. Guys,i have 2 question about the car,

1. I'm using a continental contisportcontact 3. A bit noisy....Any suggestion on less noisy tyres?
2. When i first drive the car,when i put it in reverse,the side mirror will tilt down,but its not doing it anymore.....how can i fix this?[/QUOTE]



bro,
1. i'm using csc3 as well, but i'm used to the sound. so i don't really find them noisy. maybe can try sound insulation products. Try a reputable accessory shop.

2. for your side mirror - the button that control left or right mirror = don't put it in the center, put in in either left or right mirror, it will then tilt when you reverse. if you put the button in the middler or center, it will not tilt.

Hello everyone. Im from Klang, proud to be a member of lexus, going to colllect my 250 b4 raya. Here is some info for my new car, hope can share with you guys.
- unreg 07 UK spec
- silver colour
- RM170k
- mileage 24k miles genuine
- fully leather black
- mark levinson sound system with big screen
- 17inch lexus wheel and 4 pcs 95% new dunlop sp sport tyres 225 and 245/45/17
- 1 year warranty + free spray paint whole car b4 collect (chipstones)

Currently there are 2 items im very confusing of. 1st is no HID and 2nd is cant see gps (only able to see current position grid but not map). I assuming most UK spec does not comes with HID and GPS for UK maps. Hope someone experience can help me out.

By the way, im planning to upgrade my stock wheels to 18" x 8.5 front and 18" x 9.5/10 rear. Any advise for the offset ? meanwhile will replace the light to HID 4300k and finally sent to car audio shop for GPS solution (mayb need the M'sia map disc only).

How was the solution for the gps? was it just about installing the map?

1. Strange how come your's doesn't come with HID. as far as i know only US cars have and option without.

That is why i was so confused, the light came out from the bulb just like the normal and yellow. But anyway it is not a big deal, for the gps problem, i hope by just putting the malaysia map dvd disc will solve the problem, or else i will ignore it. Iphone will be replacement :D

Wong, congrat. Where do u bought ur lexus, white ? Price? Im also waiting for mine but this salesman told me hard to get the car b4 raya due to puspakom system down. Im very dissapointed.

I think they try to give other reason to u cause...to register a new car they have to pay a sum on money to custom ........to declare the tax....mostly their car didn t pay tax one and they can keep in their tamadam warehouse....like the showroom as long they meet the custome citeria..

im hopping to get the car before raya too....cause i need to travel during raya la....hahahhah

Current momment drive toyota harrier and been confirmed trade in to used car dealer......
HUh....tough for me to change my mind driving this Is 250 (compact sport sedan compare the SUV):stupid:

Recently custom are very slow in clearing tax for import cars, it took me about 3 weeks to settle that with my sales man.. haha.. i dunno your case, maybe your sales man can "help" you to get it out earlier.
