Toyota (GR) vs Honda(Type-R). Which one is better?

Hai everyone. Just one to ask on your opinion which is better Toyota vs Honda in perfomance car - toyota (GR Yaris, Gr Corolla) and Honda (FK8, FL5).
Cost of service and after sale value also can be considered.

Don't think our opinion matters. You go and test drive both and see which you prefer driving. No point if I tell you I prefer driving the Honda but you prefer the Toyota, right?

From your list of 4 cars, i've sampled 2, the FK8 and GR Yaris
i'm unable to give you advice on maintenence or resale value

it really depends on your goal, is it going to be your daily driver? how demanding are you in terms of outright performance?

As for the drive among the 2, the GR yaris definitely feels more special, is technically more purebred of a performance car and is 4WD.

while both are equally daily drivable. the FK8 feels more practical, size, 4 doors 2.0T 4 cylinder vs the smaller engined GR. The civic is also more dual mode., able to serve like most sedans compared to the more serious Yaris GR.
