There is an idling screw on your throttle body which allows you to control the idling level. Another factor might be your aircond idle control. Check this two. Or visit GT Auto in Sunway.

1st of all, Deto engine cant be tune for the rpm...it will automatically set by its OWN!!!
try drive around for 1-2 days....take it for a run on the hiway ..try to play around with 100 to 140 for a short while.....this work for me after everytime i service my car which disturb my timing setting..
my piece of advice is don't ever touch the aircond idling screw if u don't know how to tune it..u will just make thing worst...if uw anted to give a try..remember how many turns u make on the screw...
the next trick is to knock ur distributor clockwise or anti- clockwise to reduce the rpm...(but this is the last resource if all other thing fails to clear the problem)
i'm using auto gear....which i manage to get 180 on it...
but auto-gear power is reduce by 30% from the manual gearbox right?
now i wonder does my engine limit being removed?
i'm still using the stock air-filter...normal ekzos....in short= no sports or racing mod in my car...not even the rim.
One more thing i need help is about the deto 1.6 automatic gearbox.
my gearbox jerk very hard when i press the gas hard from 20km/h..it seems to JUMP into anotehr gear to speed up.....my gearbox oil is fine and clean(just check it) and sometimes it roar till 6k rpm in one go before it change to another gear...
so i have to play the the pedal to control good pick-up timing to prevent it to roar so much with no power diliver tot he wheel.....any advice on this?
btw..which workshoop in sunway knows about this deto engine tuning and where is the shoplocated?izit beside sunway college there? what is the shop name?
