? I was actually doing some experimenting to use the CSI as an additional injector. So, with the socket unplugged, the exact same thing happened. Cold starting was a major issue....

Unfotunately...i did not experiment further...sorry bro! :hmmmm: it seems to be more sensitive on the GZE for some reason. My previous 4A-GE bigport had no issue with the injector unplugged...strange...

I'm using an Aisin AMR500, still hunting for good oil to put inside since maintenance is once in a long long time. Where else can i get the toyota supercharger oil in malaysia? JB especially. Also, how many ml is the toyota oil?

Thanks for the help guys... i researched and aparently GM has supercharger oil, but i can't find a place that sells it here, so still looking for alternatives.

toyota original Sc oil is 100ml per bottle. Just go to sparepart shop, sure they'll have it. If not, they have to order. The sc oil come in a box with 1 big syringe which will be used to insert the oil.
 
hey guys, i wanna ask can anyone help me so show a diagram as to where to the screw to adjust the idle rpm is?
 
Don't have a picture to show u but I'll try my best to explain it.

From the the factory, the screw is covered with a little rubber cap. Nothing difficult, u can open it by just using your fingers. Its located right beside the TPS.

hi tks, i managed to find the screw..:) i wanted to set the idle a lil high as my throttle body is giving prob, when the aircond is on sometimes when i step on the brake the rpm will drop so low till it dies off.. now i have set it to slightly below 1krpm dunno if will help.. this is just temporary till i have enough cash to but a used tb.. erm is there anyway to repair the stepper motor instead of changing the tb?

btw after the screw bout 180 deg the rpm went up a lil bit, i thought it was suppose to be really sensitive.. is there a problem?
 
hmmm...sounds close to what i was experiencing before, could just mean your TB is due for a major cleanup?

I cant really remember where i got this from but if memory serves, this site belongs to one of our members, so credits to that guy for the write up! :) (blog owner if you're here pls stand up!:itsme: )

Although its a 20v that he wrote about, its similar where the ISCV was the culprit. Cleaned out and lubed the motor on mine (as well as a general cleanup of the rest of the TB assy.) and it worked like a charm again!

thanks man, just wondering iscv is it the stepper motor?? for our gze we take off the top part only rite the one with the curve pipe to where the air filter is bolted on to, or do we need to remove the throttle which is below that.. btw which hose do we put in the bottle?

i just checked out the throttle body pieces.. i will need to remove the whole unit rite.. will give it a go during the weekend hope all goes well.. btw do u think i can clean it with wd40
 
err...if i were u, i'd just remove the TB and take it apart. one time job, won't need to do it again for a long time. But do have a sheet of gasket paper with u before u do this!

WD40's a lubricant, not a cleaner. Although yes, it can clean certain things but its not gonna do u much good in this case. A can of CRC Carb/Choke cleaner from your friendly neighborhood auto parts store costs RM2x? VERY effective at loosening up old dirt!
 
anybody knows why my car when start every morning
first time crank sure die
then the second time crank ok
then when engine start it rev like semput2/x smooth.
after it rev for first time then idle stable.
 
check compression first. who knows its the piston/ring thats causing the problem
 
guys i need some recommendation for a workshop in subang area, my current workshop in shah alam is too busy d.. i need a workshop that is familiar with gze as well as gud with all this mix and match as teh engine is sitting in my hyundai.. i have been having a problem with heavy steering vibration and seat all can feel the vibration.. i have done balancing so i need a workshop to diagnose the problem..
