its not natural disaster.. jesus is here 2000 yrs ago... and hes coming back 2000 yrs later.... i think he gonna be back from earth quake... 26 dec tsunami.. 25 christmas day, Jesus Born... few days ago Good Friday, Easter Day, Easter Egg... Jesus died.... tsunami again...

Some of my friends had attended this kinf of church and very scared about the theories the churches delivered. Basically the teaching is to follow every single rule or else you'll go to hell when you die. It emphazes how scary the hell is instead of how holy the god is.

P/S: I think this topic shouldn't be locked since most posters here are pretty mild about this. We're nicer when discussing issues of other people.

actually this is a very common practice.
many use this to "recuit" others into christianity, esp in singapore.
i was once threaten that if i don't submit myself to HIM, then i will be burned in hell for eternity.

actually natural disaster happens everywhere in the word, and this tsunami didn't even eliminate close to 1% of total amount of human on earth, why is it linked to the end of human race/world??? btw, it is 2005 already.

i find that pure buddist friends are better in discussing religion issues. they don't tend to be oversensitive. they regard religion as a teaching to a better life instead of the center of life.

as you see , some event happen , some disasters
happy moments are forgotten in time ,
disaster moments are long talked bout ,
usual things are often not discussed

there is always a better explanation in science rather than calling it ACT OF GOD

Planet earth was created so long ago
Earth has changes over few million years
Now we get an earthquake which killed humans
those days the animals and premitives were killed in earthquakes
its mother nature that takes place , i dont belive its ACT OF GOD
no one is to be blaimed.

Your building strong , feel lucky la , you had good foundations.
One more thing is that , i dont believe stories unless i see it infront of my face
Even the news sometimes cover ups crap stuff and make some stuff up , its called BUSINESS , MONEY Making and all about Television.
