Question on Evo6 & 7,8,9

there is a slight absorber mounting difference between the cp9a and ct9a.. some modified and there are some absorbers that are universal for ct and cp chasis.

no different on rear, plug and play

front need to put shim at lower mounting

Like mention above by Ken,

CP9A front lower arm is smaller by 4mm compare to CT9A there fore u need a 2mm shim per side for mounting.
As for the rear lower arm both are the same.:listen: So bushing and all can be shared.
There are lots more stuff that can be shared. Underbrace, underwear....eehh tersasul pulak..................he heeee

MOTUL oil how much??? ....can do service daily hehehe

dear taiko and seefu,

just got my evo7 and the previous owner fitted it with twin plate clutch, i understand the shimmering sound is normal but when i accelerate from stand still, whenever i change gear and let go my clutch pedal fast, there is a very loud sound coming from the gear ....its sounded like "gerk" but very loud and i can feel it from my front dashboard....is it common as some frens told me twin plate grabs the flywheel fast and very responsive when pick ups.....

can anyone advice, 1st time owning an evo....thanks

another question,

i used to use motul synergies 6100 for my scooby....its 4.2litre so everytime i have to buy 2 bottles...very costly. can advice me how many litre of engine oil for evo7 engine and if more than 4litre, what other brands that is equally good and with 5litre pack and reasonable price...need to service my evo soon
thanks a lot

i use about 4.2-4.5 liter every change, depends if flush kaw kaw or not.

Q8 F1 10w-50.

Quite good lar so far but good or not is often left to the individual to decide. Motul, Redline and Torco are good brands too I've heard....

Regarding the clutch, cannot answer. I use OEM standard clutch muahahahhaha
