the LMSS and LMST really a mystery ...but it is the codename for the Iswara model..

such as M21 is for Putra, M24 is for Satria/Gti, M44 is for Wira hatchback, GX is for Waja, LM is for all Saga/Iswara, PF41 is Perdana

but it was said that LM SS is Saga Silver while LMST is Saga Trim...

the model code for all Saga series 1.3 is C21 (including Orion, Magma, Megavalve, Iswara, LMSS, LMST)

for all Saga 1.5 it is C22 (manual and auto same)

for Wira/Satria 1.3 = C96
Wira/Satria 1.5 = C97
Wira/Satria 1.6 = C98
Wira 1.8/Putra/SGTI = C99

for Waja 1.6 = CF1
Waja 1.8 = CF2

for Perdana 4G63 = E55
Perdana V6 = E54

for Gen2 1.6 = CM6

i myself do not know what does LMST/LMSS stands for.

In my knowledge `L' stands for 5 door hatchback.

sample Wira chassis number PLIC97LRRMC000000

P is code for assembly in Malaysia, C97 is a 1500cc, L is 5 dr hatchback - so we already know this is a wira. one of the R means its RHD.

dun get me wrong zan,

ur post is refering to Chasis code and my post is refering to Model code... they are differrent. Both applies and it is up to which code you want to refer, so when one wanna buy parts from proton center the Model Codes is useful.

the LMSS/LMST was part of the model code instead of the Chasis code.

this is because for M24R3 - satria R3, GXCP - Waja Campro, PF41V6 - PerdanaV6 thus it makes sense when LMXX is refering to LMSS and LMST.

When i looked at the parts list, it states where in the Iswara part, let's say the saga seat is suitable for all Sagas so it states - All Models LM(so we knoe all saga/iswara/lmss/lmst can fit. then there is the digital meter for lmst onli so it states - For LMST model only(so it is for the LMST model)

they r replacing the saga.that's why they lelong it with attractive prices.btw,if this is true
that this car is replacing the saga,i think it looks better then those kia n hyundai.no hard
feeling for those korean car owner....just my opinion.:)
