Proton Waja FR

by the looks of it, P98 is dead and now replaced by E01. I believe the key elements from the P98 program would be crried forward to E01 but this time with manufacturing & material cost in mind.

Talking about the EO1, a Perdana GP car with Petronas stickers and all bearing plate "GP4" trailed me near my apartment last nite.

I was so jealous I was tempted to hijack the car then steal the engine. wakakakak.

R3 gives out advice for free (no need to use people's money hehehe).

I mean if you come up to me for my tuning (Powertrain or Chassis or Chicks) views I can give la. Or I can always find out from our pool of talented engineers and technians their views. Talking is cheap bro. It's when the engineers and technicians have to do work that will cost.

Emm..so it mean R3 also got performance parts for various selected cars other than proton model and R3 can do on spot assesment to anyone that need their help..am i right?

ayyya..did R3 already approached by public for tecnical assistent..?if commoner like me sure shy to approach u people..

bro asap tayar..
can elaborate more bout "manufacturing & material cost"

what is the different between P98 & E01

i strongly believe if R3 open stores like what mugen & ralliart do, they will receive good response.what say you faisal san?

i don't know the difference between both engines. but what i know is, P98 was very expensive to localise. so alot of components had to be purchased overseas due to the processes not available here in malaysia. for example, P98 block is alu, and malaysia does not have alloy casting technology especially for engine blocks. sport rims can la. so E01 will have a cast iron block etc.

Haha we wouldn't want JRD to build our engine blocks, would we? Everytime you hit a pothole a cylinder falls out.

kekekekeke  now now dont turn this into a JRD bashing thread pulak. i think all of us had enuff brand/manufacturer bashing for a week  hehehe

R3 are in the midst of setting up dealerships with established outlets apart from the selected Proton Edar outlets. Once it's online announcement will be made.

As to the advice, usually at Events we have our experts on hand to anwer technical queries. These are our Engineers, Technicians and Projects Managers. Of course, we are all enthusiast here so when you get a bunch of petrolheads together thay can talk cars all day.

i dowan to talk! u guys can talk all u want, just pass me the keys to borrow the R3 and continue talking. when u guys finish talking all day, come fetch me coz i ran out of gas at turn 7 help!

what is da advantage of alu block..for cooling is it?! clarify plz.

about R3 "layanan untuk semua orang" i guess its not easy to fulfill everybody that came to u guys..especially during event. actually i never went to any of ur event coz..i'm far away from event venue. but of course lots of motorhead want to meet u guys and seek technical advise..no sweet words, no ceramah2..just technical advise about everything they ask. Of course u guys can't answer all but at least 50% already acceptable..at least u guys can point out where to go @ what to do..
adios..
