The rear H-frame of the Myvi even when reinforced with a torsion beam strengthener is just not comparable with what you can find on a Wira man. Myvi's were just not made for cornering imho.

Kelisa on the other hand - this one driver problem  My old Kelisa SE was cornering god for me. Hehehe.. Until I got my Wira la. Then :

Wira > Kelisa.

Then I came across friends Audi S4.

Audi > Wira x 10

Dunno about Vios and didn't like the City's supreme understeer. You'd think with those 16" 185 profile tyres you'd have reasonable grip!

Kelisa, Definitely handles better in corners than other cars of mine :top:
Sold off your kelisa ar bro?

Audi...that one...really cant comment much from me, only tested Audi TT on straight road but not corners..

(Myvi not meant to corner like that...but when you see them doing corners, it will really make
your heart stop and just pray for them....)
:afraid: :stoned:

looks like TS just got bashed by vios prior to ZTH

What's your point, if any? If Vios is not a good car, please state your alternative with supporting facts. Thank you.

Torsion beam is a very grave handicap, a problem with HMRT faces with their S1K Jazz
But there’s a problem and it is one that’s not easily tackled. The team is not happy with the current rear suspension setup; the torsion beam is making things tougher.

“It hops,” said Car 26’s driver, Ezan. “The suspension is making the car’s rear skip, especially at the mid-corner and at the exit, which makes the car unstable. And because of that, we are unable to come out of the corners at full throttle. But we are constantly trying to refine the suspension with the data that we have.”

Since its first test in Sepang, the Jazz have slashed four seconds off their lap times, thanks to the remapped ECU, tweaked camber, different gear ratios and a more powerful engine. The team now has to sort out the rear, although they admit the H-beam suspension set up does not allow a lot of tuning options.

I wonder how the Japanese with their 1 make races copes with the Yaris & Jazz torsion beam suspension.

had a friend tested out vios and 1.5L myvi in a long run trip. vios wins. the new myvi gear ratios isn't as good as the 2nd gen myvi se. if any of you guys get to test it, you'll notice. and i agree that perodua's suspension and brakes are rubbish... warranty period havent't pass both rear absorber and front top absorber mount kooooonnngggg!!!!

Isnt myvi SE 2nd gen gear ratio the same as 1st gen? Your friends' cars are both Auto? I think if top speed, vios would win coz it can goes up to 180 - 190km/h. Myvi 1.5 can only do max 170km/h (seen in youtube, auto tranny). If acceleration, myvi is faster coz it's lighter.

But IMHO, both lose coz at >150km/h, they are losing the petrol, grip, increasing wear and tear, and might lose their lives as well as others lol

Vios and Myvi can fly...only some owners

 saw that picture too. Those who are kinda lazy to google:

vios+crash+3.jpg

DUUUUGGGGGOOOONNNNGGGG PPPPPOOOOWWWAAAA!!!! :burnout: A lot of people speculated that the flying dugong was steered by the lady with the baju kurung. Who knows.

I have to agree with cvkit17.I kinda like the 1st gen Vios design, but does that one also consider as dugong? :hmmmm:

Seriously, how the hell did it end up there???

There's another one, myvi SE 2nd gen ended up in between roof and a van. Ferrari also cannot fly but vios and myvi can wakakaka

Test final ratio. Constant 100kmh look at what RPM?

I tested friend older Honda CT with CVT. On Auto mode and paddle shift mode final drive shows difference. Paddle shift higher revs....

myvi 1.3 se manual brakes want to kill people

How is the 1.5 ones? Seems it has a larger pump (piston)....

Rubbish. Larger pump larger rotor, but still rubbish. Well, at least to me it is. For a car with ABS and EBD, it should perform better. But I read from others that after changing to a better pad, the brakes have obvious improvement. Will try it when my brakes are out. Currently still running on ori pads

I saw one tyre shop selling. Is a bigger pump but uses same size rotor.
You can also use slotted rotor to improve the brakes....:driver:

Tyre shop selling what? myvi 1.5 brake set? I noticed that the rotor for 1.5 is indeed bigger than 1.3. Not sure bout the pump but I guess it should've been upgraded too.

Slotted rotor improve efficiency but decrease pad life :banghead: but looks very nice haha. I'm planning to change when my brake rotor kaput. Together with steel hose. But I think dat would be at least 3 years from now?

Where'd you see this? I've been looking for my own Myvi

I my self is a Myvi driver and I always play around with those axxhxlx myvi, vios and viva driver that show off and think that his car is the fastest on the road.
