Er... the Myvi 1.5 is 1500cc or 1.5L... not 1.5cc... and the 1.5L Myvi is a pretty fast car la. Lightweight and engine capacity similar to Vios. Responsive and quite wobbly in corners. But in a straight line it's quite scary really.Majority Myvi owners chose to deceive oneself that Myvi is real fast, especially now there are
1.5cc Myvis![]()
Still I think the ones that act like driving a super car, 1.3cc Myvi owners are the champions till
date...wonder why they have such a thought...tailgating bigger cars and etcs..
You need to get around more. I've seen more lala-modded Citys than Vioses. True story. And the mods on the Citys make Batman look like HelloKitty. Vios is just mostly GTWings and fat bodykits... which I hate to admit look pretty good.Vios more responsive than City which is why we seldom see City zig zagging or tailing bigger cars or with all sort of Lala mods?![]()
Yaris way different price range like what Ixeo said. Yaris is Jazz competition and not many other cars are in that range. Unless you want to include the 206 into the mix, it'll get stomped on by the Honda and Toyota.my wife owns a brand new vios
my parents just bought the new city.
tested both and you're 100% correct izso. vios feels more responsive. (even with the S mode on city)
err why yaris not on the list eh ixeo...hihihihi
Many without modifying the suspension still driving at flying speed.....Er... the Myvi 1.5 is 1500cc or 1.5L... not 1.5cc... and the 1.5L Myvi is a pretty fast car la. I think from a stock myvi, in order to make it better and safer to drive a little bit faster - not 180km/h..one would have to modify the suspension and brakes. These 2 system of myvi are really kinda rubbish lol...corner like a ship and brakes like one too. Many without modifying the suspension still driving at flying speed.....![]()
Oh sorry is 1.5L and is 1500cc1st gen Vios head can't fit into the 2nd gen Dugong apparently.

Some forget that the Myvi is too high to take fast corners in standard fitment....I think from a stock myvi, in order to make it better and safer to drive a little bit faster - not 180km/h..one would have to modify the suspension and brakes. Frankly speaking i'd never tried hard cornering or braking in a vios before..only some normal drive. But i guess its gonna be far better
Whether vios, Myvi etc., many will add this and that......I guess I would not say consider lucky for not meeting any Lala City owners but I have lots
of others such as Myvi, Vios, Banyak Lampu Model around my area.
Yes, some vios looks good after mod but then to me, still find vios is merely more
like a transport and fun to drive car...not really performance purpose even though
it has very responsive engine and impressive torque.
Same goes to Myvi 1.5, as mentioned, very fast on straight road but then how steady can it be...?
that's why my wife called myvi as Rempit's Car..Many without modifying the suspension still driving at flying speed.....![]()
Which is why got a few go turtle at corners...I also reallySome forget that the Myvi is too high to take fast corners in standard fitment....

Yup, saw a few also, some even burnt.....Which is why got a few go turtle at corners...I also reallythem...got titanium balls
to take corners with car with such a height and weight...even with Kelisa also I dare not
take corners as fast as them...![]()
The rear H-frame of the Myvi even when reinforced with a torsion beam strengthener is just not comparable with what you can find on a Wira man. Myvi's were just not made for cornering imho.Which is why got a few go turtle at corners...I also reallythem...got titanium balls

Kelisa, Definitely handles better in corners than other cars of mine :top:The rear H-frame of the Myvi even when reinforced with a torsion beam strengthener is just not comparable with what you can find on a Wira man. Myvi's were just not made for cornering imho.
Kelisa on the other hand - this one driver problemMy old Kelisa SE was cornering god for me. Hehehe.. Until I got my Wira la. Then :
Wira > Kelisa.
Then I came across friends Audi S4.
Audi > Wira x 10
Dunno about Vios and didn't like the City's supreme understeer. You'd think with those 16" 185 profile tyres you'd have reasonable grip!
What's your point, if any? If Vios is not a good car, please state your alternative with supporting facts. Thank you.looks like TS just got bashed by vios prior to ZTH
Torsion beam is a very grave handicap, a problem with HMRT faces with their S1K JazzThe rear H-frame of the Myvi even when reinforced with a torsion beam strengthener is just not comparable with what you can find on a Wira man. Myvi's were just not made for cornering imho.

I wonder how the Japanese with their 1 make races copes with the Yaris & Jazz torsion beam suspension. But there’s a problem and it is one that’s not easily tackled. The team is not happy with the current rear suspension setup; the torsion beam is making things tougher.
“It hops,” said Car 26’s driver, Ezan. “The suspension is making the car’s rear skip, especially at the mid-corner and at the exit, which makes the car unstable. And because of that, we are unable to come out of the corners at full throttle. But we are constantly trying to refine the suspension with the data that we have.”
Since its first test in Sepang, the Jazz have slashed four seconds off their lap times, thanks to the remapped ECU, tweaked camber, different gear ratios and a more powerful engine. The team now has to sort out the rear, although they admit the H-beam suspension set up does not allow a lot of tuning options.
