Intercooler Spraying

woahh..
nice long arguments there...

really enjoyed reading it...

how i wish more arguments like this would be discussed on this forum regarding automotive engineering and the likes...
most of what i've read here are just general remarks or a sweeping-statement of facts without any serious thoughts being put into....

i salute dolly and danny for going to the extent to exemplify and substantiate their arguments.... :)

although...it really doesn't matter since you probably can't and wont want to find a decently sized full copper intercooler

copper is great, but the weight and cost doesn't justify the performance gain

oh jinkl, one thing i hate about spraying my ic black is, after awhile must respray it cause all the lil dirt n stones will chip the paint off

Alright guys...

actually I have no idea on theories of intercooler thing but...

I just wonder one thing...

some says it's no good idea that spray on intercooler (no matter what color
will that be) because it might block the air flow on intercooler.

my point is... as long as it doesn block the air flows on intercooler (middle part)

that much... it shouldn be a problem or doesn make a big difference in cooling

intercooler right? let's have a example.

Fiat Coupe or some of turbo chargered cars' intercoolers placed inside of

front bumpers which means and considered the front bumpers blocked the air flow

to intercoolers right?

I wanna spray a silver color on intercooler.... because it seems quite dirty..

does it make a big change on it what if I spray on it?
