This month also i got to change my engine oil, gear oil. Walaa... :shades_smile:

I've just service my car yesterday!!!
Shell lubricants price up by 12%!!!
Cost me another 60 bucks to service the car!!!
DIY method also so expensive, don't know how much will it cost in those service centres???
This month my wallet is so thin!!!

Both of my driveshafts cost me RM660 and not RM730!!!
And I did not changed the whole unit but half of it!!!
The outer part of it!!!

Hi there ! I used to post under the name cornerkick. Somehow the postings were irregular and I forgot about my password.

Would like to meet up with you guys, maybe let's start with TT . Black Samurai is always enthusiastic on meeting up but somehow we have not been giving him our support. Where do you all usually meet ? Petaling Jaya ? Friday ?

My ride is a second generation coupe. I have just started to enjoy driving the car after i have identified two problems which was only solved recently. 1) I found the ride was not smooth even when I replaced four new tyres. Discovered during balancing that one of the front tyres had a manufacturing defect. Got taken for a ride by the tyre shop that sold me the new tyres . Got that rectified. 2) When going over uneven roads - suspension noises . Thought it was some bushings . Identified cause of problem by a good mechanic without even driving the car. Rubber mounting for the font shocks hardened.

Now the car runs smooth and I can enjoy some high speed and acceleration driving. Consumption in town is not good but long distance OK. PJ to Penang consumes only half tank with aircond all the way. I think I can make a round trip to Penang and back to PJ on a single tankful. Very tough car, good handling.
Saw a K&N Filter at the supermarket the other day. Tempted to buy. Anyone has used this K&N drop in filter ? I prefer the car to be stock standard

wel...my oil consumption is on 500 kmj for every single full tank.. its about RM 96 after the fuel price increased.

But.. Memebers were not active enough
Previously
i got my own group of coupes gathering every friday
but lost most of its contact as
it lost interest. less and less car coming..

My ride is a 2001 1.8 auto. I send mine to a mechanic in Taman Mayang who prepares Proton Putra for races. Hardly send to mechanic except for the above problems. I think it is a very reliable car.

Maybe a few of us should have TT together to exchange info. Perhaps there are very few Hyundai Coupes in Malaysia which explain why it is difficult to organise any get together.

Is your ride modified or stock standard ?

Eheh...sorry guys been so busy last few months.

My car almost there, need some bits of the dash replaced. Its white now, with upsized rims.
I should be able to join you guys later in the year.
You know I have some pals down Singapore, their third gen club 50 strong!!
Damn...n here seems so antisocial. I saw 2 at glenmarie while servicing the car, but their owners din seem interested to chat.

Anyway keep it up. Perhaps should join the other hyundai gatherings like Getz etc...more the merrier :)

This coming Sunday (30 April 2006) at 9:00 PM!!!
Make a free time and come for the gathering, actually it is a TT session, hahaha...
