Just wanna ask a question to everybody who say they are "open minded" or "modern" or "western educated" or whatever...

How revealing is too revealing? when do say that there is too much skin? Who do you think should determines this?

Is it politicians? feminist? religious authorities? perverts? nudist?....etc??

to me, its not about open minded or having exposure to western cultures. it is about logic and consistency.

if a tube and also mini skirt is considered too revealing and the authorities really decides to enforce a 'dress code' for the race queens, then the authorities MUST ban all imports and also locally produced tubes, tank tops, mini skirts and hot pants. otherwise, they are just hypocrites because malaysians can wear it while foreigners cant.

this is why so many people think its STUPID to cancel the permits for some artistes because they don't meet a certain dress code. most artistes now go to singapore to open concerts just to avoid the stupidity of the dress code issue. they rely on their songs to make a living, not what they wear.

the stupidest part of all this is, if a certain group who doesn't even watch super gt can influence the authorities to enforce a dress code, what about the group of people like us who actually PAY MONEY to go to such events? why should we pay money to watch events that are controlled by other people who don't watch it? :rolleyes:

Don't misunderstand. It's just a metaphore. Even the G i believe are well educated, yet again mind set fail. end of the day, it all depends on the individual itself.... Are we clear?! Cheers
