Well, I'm a contractor but most of the money didn't go to the right people who deserve it.

A contractor can quote say RM 5mil for the entire house plus finishing to another shell company who got the tender. This shell co will then quote the G-man RM 15mil n will pay some of the cash to certain officers n even some subcontractors to keep them quiet.

The list goes on...

so u r the real contractor or the sub-contractor in the whole process? but u cant go bid the project diretly right?coz they only giv the project to the shelve company which hold interest of certain insider group....this is wut my fren experinced before..so in the end a 2million project will mark up to 12million and our tax money goes to those bastard.....may god bless them...

I'm just a small-time contractor (who handles mostly renovations). I can't build houses or buildings - that one u need a contractor approved by the Housing Ministry. We are talking about contractors who can handle multi-million projects.

And yes, I can't bid for projects - too many red tapes and requirements n also payouts (I can't afford it).

Better to be small n safe - most important it ability to claim at least 50% of payments b4 starting any work.
