Fuel for performance?

Seems many chose Petron or BHP, for my VR same case. All the while Petron, then tried BHP not bad, then tried Shell, straight away no power, so dare not try others, so stick to Petron of BHP.....

Ya seriously BHP petrol is good. Maybe because BHP 95 is euro 3? But recently petronas got new fuel. anybody tried yet?

Recently another case right? About 10 cars all shut down after refuel at that certain station......
Yes, for the other case it was my 1st hand experience. Was on the way to 1U and my Proton Saga was almost running on empty so I stopped at the petronas just before the tunnel and right after the Rm3 toll. Wanted to fill up Ron95 and the attendant warned me they accidently filled diesel into RON 95 underground tanks. He said only Ron 97 unaffected. So since I was in desperate need, I filled up RON97. Now Imagine if the attendants were unaware or did not say anything to me....

Ah! this case they are aware, so they can stop selling.....

For me Petron wins because go 2 stations near my place, while only one for BHP and is situated at a very jam place. Moreover, I love the RM45 fuel for 3000 points for Petron......lol

yes...racking up point and refuel...

anyway i noticed point given also depend on fuel... ron100 and ron97 fuel have higher than 1x point multiplier..while ron95 is lower than 1x...

Only Bhp and caltex bec they are from singapore refineries and min euro3

Ron 95 euro2 is not good for my car

Correcto. Tho its not really min Euro 3..they don't make that guarantee. But it'll be definitely be better than the crap RON 95 from other brands,

actually why is Euro 2 bad?

He will tell you, most of our cars even got no cat.......lol
Higher sulphur content is actually good for the engine but like you said - bad for the catcon.

My car is runed to run ron97.....But personally......My car feels lethargic when i pump BHP and Shell (except the red vpower racing)....So i always pump Petronas, Caltex and Petron for me....I dont know why BHP and Shell has that effect on my car......

Interesting. Lately I found Petronas RON 97 to offer better mileage than BHP RON 97.

This is on a turbocharged vehicle. On a stock Myvi with the 1.3L K3VE, Petronas and Shell RON95 gave the worst mileage.

Even the new BHP97 still makes my car feels sluggish. The sound also different. Like very "heavy" sound. My wife also say why so noisy and suspect that i change muffler :banghead::banghead::banghead:

So i only pump 97 from Petronas, Caltex and Petron. And one thing i realise is, after i pump caltex and then pump back petronas or petron, my mileage is higher. Example is my average mileage is i pump petronas is like 430-450km. After i pump Caltex, and pump back petronas or petron, i get about 450-480km.....

My interpretation is when u pump in Caltex, it is cleaning your engine on that full tank. Once the engine is cleaned u pump in other brand so that brand is running on cleaner engine hence better mileage?
