hi i am new here....read alot bout this diy undercarage thing.....it works thanks alot ...but there is 1 problem......after switch on the light for 1 min...the light started to blink y har?????......

is this tube got built in transformer?? last time i remember the shop tauke told me all thin fluorescent tube got built in transformer.

normally those tube come together with its casing... very thin wan... it is not transformer... the casing inside got electronic circuit wan... just plug in de wire can use already...

so for our car 12V DC cannot use lar... have to use either DC choke or de room lamp circuit to light it up lor... if use DC choke i also duno how many watt to use...

i just installed two 4 feet tubes on euking's car last saturday...

it took me 3.5 hours to complete everything including wiring n mountings... started at about 2.30pm n finish at 6pm.... phew!! damn tiring job...

but at last... the results was very satisfying... looking back at the neat wiring i've done.. hehe.. :D unlike my car done by the acc. shop.. damn so messy.. even i myself cant trace where the wire tap from...

anyway.. euking... hope u like my worksmanship... nice to meet u!! :)

wah max1984 also doing UC lights....done mine already...nearly 3 hours to siap...using those thin tubes from the kedai ikan one but without the casing...now my car can attract all the lalats & cicaks at night....hehehe..muahahakakaka...

yesterday i installed undercarriage lights on another car... its a kelisa... with two 4 feet tubes... yes u read it right... 4 feet flourescent tubes under a kelisa!!

n i noticed kelisa chassis metal is very thick... took me so long to drill it n broke one of my drill bit... sh1t!!

i hope the owner Johnny like my workmanship.... n de light glow of cos... me still waiting for him n his fren King to post their pics.. :)
