hi everyone

anyone know how?
i heard after install relay the lamp will get brighter..

what value for the relay should i use?
(i dono how many volt i should use. from my experience, if use volt value too high, then maybe the electric wont able to 'switch on' the relay, if use too low voltage value, then will damage it)

anyone got wiring guide to install relay to headlamp?
(is it original electric to headlamp wire to relay, to switch it on/off, then when the relay is turn on, the headlamp get electric directly from battery? )

hope anyone can help
thanks

:)

Hello Just curious. Are you refering to additional spot/fog lamps or your existing car headlights..??

if install for spot/fog light, how?!...

if install for headlight, how?...

interested to know both... hehehe...

hope this will help ;)

Well i guessed you are refering to this type of relay. PPl install additional relay + wiring to their headlight mainly becoz the upgrade the stock standard 55/60w bulb to 90/100w bulb.

If you using high wattage bulb w/o upgrading the wiring possibility you might melt your existing stock headlight connector.

Hope this help :)

anyone can provide pic please?

On your alternator, there is a screw with a cable going out.. that is the + conenction. Youc an use a multimeter to test first to be safe.

hehehe,. now i have to save money to buy relay
spending quite some on capacitors already..

Relay is not that expensive(I think). You can get one not more than RM10. Depends on your preference. The idea of the D.I.Y is to get the power supply direct from your battery to your headlights(stock ones).
When you turn the switch on your console/dashboard, the signal will be sent to the relay and when the relay turns on, it will draw power from battery direct to headlamp. This will lower down the resistance from normal wiring procedure. I read it somewhere but cannot remember the website.

If wrong, sorry a... I'm still a newbie. :P

Can anyone post the model no./specs of the relays here? :D
Makes it MUCH easire for D.I.Y-ers to go & buy them off the shelf... :D

Maybe a successful D.I.Y-er can actually show us the ropes on how to do this step by step? (...just an Idea, ok :D )
