for ur infomation, a lot of outstation(outside KL) ppl do it themselves... cos if they buy from Tom have to pay postage fees also

those in JB make their own ZTH car decals

where got la... here in zth we r all equal :) by da way, i dun really hav big wheels... just 17inch only ;)

nowadays, anybody can afford a german car :) its whether u wan or not

a 1994 BMW E36 price = price of a brand new Myvi

so actually, it all boils down to whether u wan to buy it or not :)

i did tried b4.. but manually.. i cut the stickers bout roughly d size i wan.. juz say 8 by 3 inch.. then i stick masking tape, n start drawing n measuring... juz a 'momo' took me almost half n hour....huaaaa :frown: traditional way.... dats juz geometric shape... if organic like 'recaro'... haih so many tries n errors.. sumore look like pirated..end up tearing them of :thumpdown

Need abit of yr help la brother joe.. n haf 2 admit dat the NFSU is damn cun! simple n creative. how la u got the patience... i rememba last time, i bleed my fingers n had hand cramps..

So juz few questions:

- u knoe where can get the 'transparent' stickers? u knoe like u, u used masking tape 2 transfer yr finished vinyl 2 d car.. but usually custom stickers shop using this.. so dat can stick more accurately.. its like a thin sticky film.. veri hard 2 find those la.. more or less like food wrapping plastic dat wan..hope u get wat i mean

- bout printer, is it ok 2 use normal A4 printer? would d sticker 'crumple' abit since u r printing it the back of it.. cuz those stickers r been rolled frontwards from shops.

- haf u tried stick yr stickers in engine bay? heatproof tak? if not hafto go Tom's Stickers there buy liao.. mahal siot..

- And lastly wat software u used? Photoshop?

Cuz im actually tryin 2 do d same project like u... if im not mistaken u r doin the dodge viper stripes style ryte i assume?
Where else im trying 2 do d side wan.. like Satria R3 but ade garis putus2.. from headlight 2 tail light hehe... :rolleyes:
flames n tribals r to complicated..so juz stick 2 simplicity

oo..boy...u got awhole lot of queries there.... i'l try 2 explain d best i can....

- transparent stickers- i've nt used any yet except for the type used 4 headlamps n signals.... but dat looks like black tinted not clear...
- A4 printers- u can use any printers s wished but i used A3 printers s the NFS sticker was too big A4 printers....
- rolled stickers- u have to cut to required size(A4/A3) then roll them opposite ways n get them flaten(u know wat im sayin lar bro)
- on engine bay- yes they stick perfectly with no damages...tried them for my sparkplug cover... check the link http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=35580&highlight=plug+cover , i even made a racecraft sticker on it ...luks more gempak...
- software- i used autocad n photoshop...
-body strip project- so many designs ,havent decide yet...havent got the time..been freakin busy lately...
- zth stickers- i made the zth 'bomberman' sticker for side windscreen...hehehehe

tx brother JOE.. yah dats certainly help.. y don t uuse a better cf sticker... d wan u using so cheap lookin ler.. no offence ya.. juz my 1 cent.. ofcos d real lookin 1 far mo exp then abang wan.. neway nice work on d plug cover. im tryin 2 d side mirrors but hard le.. so bulat n alwez crumple n got bubblings..

yah i know this CF luks cheap...but the real luking 1s cost abt 50 for A4 size...gees thats alot... rather buy the real CF plug cover for dat...

A4 too small for dat NFS sticker lar bro... unless u want it smaller...
even mine is doubled the size of A3... so have to print half/half n join it lor...
if A4 size with end up having to many pieces 2 join... up to yr skills if u can doit ..

its 1 piece lar..but CF background is 1 piece... on the NFSU lettering is sambung2...
anyway u have them out each 1.. if its in piece easy to stick on the CF background lar... if not have 2 pandai2 lar..hope u get it...

im doin long wordings. like 4 inch by for 4 feet. no specific paper for dat size wor. If normal small decals ofcos i use normal A4s which is not a problem.. i juz wanna figure how 2 set the printer so it will print 4 feet or more straight without any stops..
