shutter speed
- the slower the shutter closes to allow more light enter... as in ambient light. if you are not using flash, the image will be more natural. however, in darker environment, best to use the lowest ISO possible to eliminate noise

For eg, with fast shutter speed like 1/2000 sec u can capture water droplets...every single drop..
WIth slow shutter like 1/2 second, u see water flows like river. However to use fast shutter speed, u must make sure there's enough light. Else it'll turn out under- exposed. Normally flash is not a good choice, cuz it make the image look flat by exposing same amount of light to everything.
THen u hav to know bout aperture also. Which also call f-stop.
