Help/Advice Needed on 4g93p pls

Dear Sifu's,

Pls help me on these few probs...thanx in advance

1)Whats the difference between ecu code-5537,0450 and the 2468(All MMC)?...which do u recommend?
2)Whats the difference between the 1.6(4g92p)gearbox n putra 1997 gearbox?
3)When i turn the a/cond on i feel really lack off power...damn kow hard to drive in kl during peak t/jam hrs

All these is for a satria(4g93p)...thanks pls help

I recommend using MMC ECU. Not sure about the gearbox. Change to a Denso aircond compresser you won't feel lack of power.

1) AFAIK 5537 is from Japan, Step-0 emissions (lowest emissions, highest power) used in Putra, Wira LE and 1st batch GTi. 0450 and 2468 are either MMC or APM, Step-1 emissions. Correct me if wrong but these 2 can be rechipped, while 5537 is hardwired. So use 5537 if you just want to plug n play, and the others if you want to buy a chip.
2) Best to take the gearbox code (F5M22-?-????) and compare.
3) As recommended by Fanatic, switch to Denso. But either way it's always better to turn off the aircond during hard acceleration or when RPM is above 4500.

mine also 4g93 n it was from putra 1997.when the a/c on feel like drive a mivec bcoz after 4.5k rpm feel sumthing pushing the engine.

Haha you mean when the compressor cuts out you feel the "mivec" rush? That one Denso only...if you're on Patco it feels like NOS! :tongue:
