between pre amp and electronic crossover

if u got 2 amp, 4 channel is for speakers and 2 channel is for subwoofer. But remember that to set your HU equalizer "0" to all (means that, 0 bass, 0 thebble etc) then u increase bass or trebble at your amp so tht it will sound good. Woofer is only for bass, speaker is only for trebble, sound etc
