I have a Pioneer DEH1750 HU
I am using 1 set of MTX component with the crossover they provided
1 12" Subwoofer
1 75W RMS X 2 amp (Bridge for my woofer)
1 Hafler MA1 Rockford 50W RMS X 2 (For component)
1 Preamp
1 set of 3" Rockford centre channel speaker (Use power from HU)

I have 1 more set of Pyle component but didn't use
Coz no place for another amp

What is actually the use for electronic crossover?
Can i still use it with a preamp?
The amps have gains also
And my woofer amp can choose for sub also
So why need crossover wor?
What freq should i set for the woofer?

electronic crossover is to split the signal from HU to diff amps/channels that are driving diff type speakers, eg) tweet/mids/subs. at the moment i guess u dont need any, since your only doing 2way and im guessing your pre-amp has a sub out xover feature built in. maybe later on if u feel the pre-amp is causing noise or u feel u want to go 3 way active, or add more amps u can get an electronic crossover.

So if i use crossover, i will have to get a seperate amp for my tweeters, mid and woofer.
So altogether i will need 3 amps, assuming all are 2-ch amps?
I saw some crossovers without output for tweeters?
What is the usual price for electronic crossovers?

Yup, my preamp has sub output feature

Yes, need seperate amp for each driver.. Only 2way crossover has come without tweeter output.. How choose e/cross either 2way or 3way or 4way.. Normally e/cross spec write at face or box.. 2ch 2/3way or 3ch 2/3way or 4ch/2way or else..

a) Ch mean chanel for INPUT, either c/w 2ch or 4ch or 6ch
- 2ch mean have 1 set input for Left & Right
- 4ch mean have 2 set input for Front (L/F) & Rear (L/F)
- 6ch mean have 3 set input for Front (L/F), Rear (L/F) & Sub (L/F)

b) Way mean Signal output, Low pass, Band pass & High pass
- 2way mean 2 signal output for Low pass (Sub) & High pass (Front/Rear)
- 3way mean 3 signal output for Low pass, Band pass (Mid) & High pass (tweet)
- 4way mean 4 signal out - Low pass, 2 band pass & High pass

Alot in our market right know not truely 3way e/cross.. How this stuff look like?..
Front out can switchable either for drive component speaker or solely for tweeter.. How to know? This e/cross c/w Multiplier Freq.. X1 or X20.. How this switch working? Let say this e/cross provide Freq Adj.. 25hz - 300hz.. If you set it at X1.. Front High pass can adjust within 25hz to 300hz.. If you set it at X20.. Front High pass can adjust within 500hz to 6000hz/6khz (solely for tweeter).. & Rear out only for High pass not Band pass..
