there's always the option of getting a 2nd opinion... meaning dun go bek to the same workshop... but find one that's trustworthy... like a usual workshop of a friend, and get ur friend to bring u go.
Sometimes mechanics can be wrong also... =p Experience does count when it comes to this, some other mechanics might have experienced this before so they might know immediately whut to do to solve it =)
