for this problem, u need to re-tune your AFR. coz maybe your ratio not accurate. another thing, we actualy can set our fuel isometry from ECU. but most of workshop, if we said to tune injection... they just reset error code, set idling, timing and other parameters.


actualy u can adjust ur self. u just need skru driver (hehehe) do this step :
1) idle with no aircond, make sure rpm is 1 or 0.8(min)
2) on aircond and check your rpm. if they > 1 lets say 1.3, on your trottle body, got vacuum hose on it. have 3 skru. 1 of it printer 'A' try to tighten it a little and slow. and see again your timing. (kalau longgar, timing akan > biler on aircond. kalau ketat, timing akan < biler on aircond)
3) repeat 2nd step until your idle stable.

sebenarnya ader lagi satu cara nak tune. tapi kalau nak tulis dalam nie panjang. tapi cara dia macam nak setting carburetor motor/kereta. kene skru abis... kire braper pusing, pastu bukak kurang sket dari yg asal

p/s : kalau rpm < 0.7-8 sesetengah kereta akan bunyi macam pakai high cam. kejap naik kejap turun kejap naik kejap turun. tu kalau on aircond. sebab biler rpm idle > 1.2 /1.1 aircon akan on, biler on dia tarik rpm sampai 0.7 then auto aircond switch akan offkan aircond dan mende nie akan jadi loop.


okeh about this ting, actualy micro compressor just like another air source for ur engine. its connected to trottle body. just to give more air even trottle is close. u can tutup the hose and it not effect your engine. but if u open to much air, your engine can to lean and demage in combution camber. so conclution, u can tutup abit but don open it to wide. nak tulis susah... kalau aku cite berdepan ngan ko lagi senang.

wow so detail thanks bro. just one more question. when i set my timing that time. should i turn off the micro compressor? does it affect anything? so many screw thingie... very blurred and confused la. thanks again.

by the way lancer taiko, how to tune AFR? reset ecu won work la... i try before. if wanna tune injection. how they gonna tune?

that is still ISC prblem right... my car also like that... sometimes engine mati straight away... yesterday also mati... hehe... i kinda give up on this la... can't find a solution also. that is why i tune the idling fuel higher a bit, so it won mati engine.... actually quite frustrated la...don know how also...

all sifu here. 4g93 t/b how big? 58mm or 60mm? what t/b u all using? perdana v6 is 60mm right if i am not mistaken.
 
saturday misti go out shoppin o stucks in traffic jam.....

yesterday followed my fren to AMOIL..idling not stable...exsos got petrol smell...set dis set tat....some said air flow some said ecu some said t/b....check punya check last last...is the hose longgar....pssstttttttt....air coming out...the small hose located right handside of head......air so important ?!?!changed another tight tight n ngam ngam hose..settle...N while my car on the process time..all in ade..step brake engine mampus..hose jugak punyer hal..
 
i install my 4g93 cam tat time is FOC...coz even b4 the mech transplant my engine i ask him 2 take out the cover 4 me 2 take back n spray...

after tat i ask him 2 install the cam edi....even b4 trying original 4g91 virgin power....

the 4g93 t.body is 54mm onli o was it 56mm...either 1 lah...
 
Huuuuuuuu.....finally change my exhaust pipe from 2" to 1.6", replace my center muffler with swirl type bullet, replace my 1.8 wira muffler to super turbo muffler (twin loop muffler).....total another RM279.90 gone today......hehe....got my fuel tank full just now, will start monitor my FC from now.....my last tank last me 30 litter for 279km (my last 7 tank petrol give me same FC)......I hope get better FC from this mod, I notice my low end response become better (the auto gear box did not drop gear so often when I wanna increase speed).


My next project,

1) Aerospeed voltage stabiliser (Already bought but no time installed)
2) DIY 10 point grounding kit (from my ex engine, not yet installed)
3) Microcompressor (from my ex engine, just clean it, let it dry first)
4) Fuel Magnetize Device


Dear 4G91 brother, wanna me try one by one to monitor the difference and update u all?

the the muffler i guess is s-flow...which is more suitable 4 ur auto tranny

Original 2" too big to my car.......I also notice that the auto transmission will change gear around 5200 - 5500rpm.....sigh....cannot touch it peak horse power....

but weird thing is
with 2".....power start kick in 2500rpm
with 1.6".....power start kick in 2500rpm also !!!!!!!!
but power below 2500 more linear....no empty feel....


My current muffler is not s-flow, normally people call this type of muffler U-Flow muffler, twin loop muffler or super turbo muffler, suitable for auto car because this type of design provided a good balance between low, mid and high end.

My U flow muffler the internal pipe route something like the picture show in the link below.

Microcompressor work in my previous engine plus I got try to installed in my friend 1.5A mit ecu, his comment is the car become lighter.....for sure I will put it in and see how.
 
oh..didnt know those twin loops ar U-flow...ahahha....
very famous 1...ori mugen muffler also like tat...

u feel ur powerband comes at 2.5k rpm is normal...
the powerband is the cam
good lah u...i install 4g93 cam the power is way after 4k rpm

Here's another choice for u... R3 extractor... forgot they selling how much brand new... either 350 or 450.... but i think its 350... might prove to be good on a 4G91 also... who wants to be the first to try it out and experiment? Then can tell us if its good or not...
 
well...since its 1.8 xtractor....its not tuned 4 4g91 rite?
since u mention lots of thing cant be simply rojak unless its tuned 4 our engine
 
my inner diameter is 1.8"...which i've checked its very optimum 4 1.5cc engine...
they quote me max 4 1.5cc is 1.75...which is near loh 2 1.8"

mine using 1.75....but my down paip looks smaller then 1.75...so my mid pick up quite slow..
