SATRIA 1.6 - Seeking advices for TUNING & UPGRADES

Hi bro.

Whats the differences between 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 vs 4 -2 - 1 extractors
My uncle ask me to use 4 - 3 -2 - 1.

Normally for inline-4 engines, there is only 4-1 or 4-2-1.

To explain it, 4-1 means that 4 pipes coming out from exhaust manifold, merged into one single pipe after a certain length. That is why it is called 4-1. 4 pipes into 1 pipe.

4-2-1 means that 4 pipes coming out from the exhaust manifold, 1 pipe will merge with 1 more pipe. So, from 4 pipes it will merge to 2 pipes. At the end, the 2 pipes will merge together as 1 pipe. Hence the name 4-2-1. From 4 to 2 and finally to 1 pipe.

Merge one by one? Never heard of 4-3-2-1 though. :stupid:

4 then join 2 to 1 first, the other 2 don't join so got 3, then further down only join the 2, then got 2 then join again to 1 .......lol

Bro. Issuzark go try new system......hhahahahhaha:rofl:

aiyo.. so confusing...... :alberteinstein:

Got it...
For touge & corner carving....we need low to mid range...means 4-3-1 is the extractor i need.

You'll be surprised that most of the time your RPM will be on the midrange to revcut. :burnout:
