If add on a supercharger to your Mark X, then it becomes a big different.
...

I got a friend who had installed the Rotrex SC kit in his Mark X, dynoed at 240hp/260nm on wheels, so around 320hp/350nm on engine. Very tempting indeed! :burnout:

Woah, powerful indeed. But power loss is great as well. That is like a lost of 80hp. Now how much hp you have on wheels?

That's about 25% power loss estimation as it's a normal AT car and using SC which is belt driven by the engine.
My car? Don't know, haven't dyno before. But most std Mark X 2.5ltr are dynoed around 160hp on wheels, so with around 20-25% power loss then equates to about 200-212hp as per the spec sheet.

Thanks for the info. Around 160hp on wheels is rather good already. More power than Camry 2.0, Accord 2.0 and Teana 2.0.

Sell of Altis and buy Range Rover Evoque. Got RM50K discount.

What is RM50k from the selling price.....

Nah.. I know I can't maintain a Beemer. So as much as I love the 135i, I won't be getting a Beemer anytime sooner.

I would love to buy a Mazda. It is just awesome. Especially the 2 sedan. Kinda cute.

Too small for my liking. And personally I find the hatch nicer.

Actually, the Evoque is surprisingly 250k thereabouts. So if 50k discount then trade in the Altis for a good price, he might actually be able to afford it.

Beemer, you can afford, see whether you want or not.....

Evoque at RM250k? I think is RM350K, right?

135i road tax will be expensive too. Before I bought my Mark X, I actually looked for 125i but very rare to find.
