i have a new V6...

You know how youre supposed to prime the engine first before starting it ? Like turn the ignition halfway, wait for the ABS and radiator light to go then start the engine?

This is good practice correct ? However, with your remote starting, does it skip this process and just start the engine immediately ?

Hi there...yes it does have a security function to protect your engine...it waits for 7 secs before it starts the car to allow the check engine light to turn off....for most cars that's the recommended...it also allows you to change it to 10secs (usually for diesel cars).

So bro rest assured your engine will be protected.
