why why why ?? just curious .............or issit the other way round ( correct me if i'm wrong) tq

actually ure not wrong .. its the fact

sexy car meh .. if u have nice sleek highpowered FD3S, u want trash into drift track arr?.. go pickup girlfren larr .. spoil the car by putting into drift tracks?.. summore .. Malaysian drifter are amateurs .. still improving skills, so better use KP61, A31, 180sx or better ones FD .. correct? .. thats y ..

later if our drifters pro oledi, then u can see R34 drift lorr....

really ? ........ i see i see ....... but i think there are some quite good what . like zee , mr nismo .........ohhh may be they just don wanna take the risk .

ha ha ..now u know ..

anyway .. sunway extreme drift park is not actually real drift sized circuit ..

cheers!

<_< the rx7 tat u mean is fc or fd... fc got ppl use 2 drift oso... tat day extreme park there got blue fc drift mar... oso got few fc playin drift geh... jz din go in onli... then fd not drifting coz the price now is stil consider high mar... langgar liao sure sakit hati ler... kekeke... but all i noe is they use fd 4 drag racing onli...

haha ....... if can see ppl drift with fd that will be cool . at first i thought fd is not suitable for drifting even if its a fr ..... (may be like some other factors ...) now i know its only the price .

RX7 is an expensive car to drift. Especially in FD form....
Very sensitive engine is 1 main reason.
Other reason is the lack of low end....

no jiao jiao !!!! fd can be drift ....but only the engine always kacau !!!! i sit in a fd n drift b4 the feeling is very fierce n stable is a good car to drift but u hv to throw out alot of $$$$$ !!!! haha

Rx7 (FC) has slight disadvantage compared to the nissans. First of all, wheelbase is significantly shorter than 180sx/silvias. Which is almost similar to AE86 (not really a disadvantage for polished drifters). Also, with the Front-mid engine location, results in a very low polar moment of inertia (just like MR2). Lastly, steering angle max out about 30degrees compared to 40-45degrees getting from a stock silvia. Also, like wat babygodzilla mentioned. Need to rev the living hell out of it...

Need to correct u guys about rotary being unreliable though.. its no doubt that the engine that is very sensitive to high boost (without enough fueling). With proper understanding and care a rotary could be more reliable than piston engine. For me, its quite hard to go back to piston now.. haha

1. Too expensive to set for a drift car, suspension etc...n seems too nice.

2. Engine heating problem, not reliable engine for long term high rev.

3. Controlling matter, i heard wht the Japs say lor...lots better FR car to drift...so same matter with SUPRA, why dun want to drift it???...or Midship engine??MR2, NSX??...which the body ratio front:back is 40:60...lots of OVERSTEER,huhu :)

Correction, it should be less reliable if u don't redline it often. hahaha..

Endless, are you sure about this? If that's true, then I get the picture why Andy FC always redline his engine. He plant his foot down the throttle even if he spun. To make the engine more reliable eh? LOL :D

Eh? I thought the FC throttle only can on or off only? So u either get full rev or no revs.

MrNismo is correct ;) ..

higher rom generates torque for wheel to go lose traction and become 'mabuk' .. its the drivers expertiness to control the car .. remember how drift starts? .. how keiichi controls car by sliding it in corners to control a car ? now it becomes "drift racing" .. a sports season ;)

its more safer rather than 'lumba haram' at streets and practise drift ... ;)

Don't la tease us rotaries... :D If u look at a typical rotary engine's dyno chart, u will notice that peak torque is produced very high in the rev range, if remember correctly is in the range of 6000's and no way u can get a flat table top characteristic out of it. Both power and torque curve characteristic very similar to VTEC engines.. no kidding.. THats y Andy is revving the hell out of it! Being more reliable if u rev is to clear off the carbon sludge build up around the rotor housing.. u think i was pullin ur leg?? Hahah. Andy was merely cleaning his rotor housing and coincidentally drifted.. damn!
