wheel spinz...

today evening, i was chillin out at outside of my house then i saw there's a iswara LMST n a wira dueling a drag test...

then during the "competition"... i heard nearly 10 wheel spins from both cars when they change gears...

is this wheelspins good or bad? does mean their car is powerful or anything? or it is related to their clutch n accelerator timing?

bald tyres or mayb they left off their cluth to fast??? i seldom hear 5 wheelspins from a car even if the car is forced inductioned provided with their clutch timing is good... correct me if i am wrong...

walau iswara wheel spin so keng arr?? i think is that owner seajar make 1 lahh..
If play drag is less wheel spin let teh tyre n road hv better grip 1.....wheel spin lose power to pick up lohhh..correct me if i wrong...

in a drag event,its always a must to avoid wheel spins.
the tyres loses traction and it "stalls" there for a moment, where else the other car that doesnt wheel spins will take off faster.

Spin got 2 meanings actually...

1st means ur car powerful lor....(assume tyre not botak n diden purposely rev engine b4 let go clutch)

2nd means ur drivetrain not good enuff to take so much power. so wheel spin then lose traction then waste power n slow down ur drag time. example: no LSD gearbox or no 4WD.

2 car, each with 5 gears, both change gear 5 time, 5x2 = 10 :D

basically its the lost of traction, where the power will be wasted (where else can you generate sound without power?). for wheel to spin even at 5th gear, that car is going to be seriously overpowered or they are using those thin temporary spare tire for drag :D

Maybe he put loud speakers in the car....Turn the volume to the max then you mai heard lots of wheel spinz loh...Like those old newspaper car.......surat khabar lama......siew chu pu gua....shao gao po chi........old newspaper......:D
