I am about to change the manual gearbox oil and the rear axle oil of my car. The car is RWD corolla and non LSD equipped and standard as can be.

My question is.

How much Tuffoil should i pour in the gearbox and the axle? 1 bottle for gearbox and half for axle? Or half for gearbox or half for axle?

Can tuffoil be mixed with grease? I intend to try it for wheel bearings.

I saw a big bottle with a truck picture being sold in ACE. Is the contents same as the regular bottle?

Is there an expiry date for tuffoil?

Thats all. Thanks.

For manual gearbox, use about 5-10% mix of Tufoil together with gear oil.About a third to a half of a 8 oz. bottle is sufficient. Likewise for rear axle.

The big bottle is 1.5 lit and it reads Truck Engine Treatment. Yes, it is the same formulation as the smaller bottles for cars. This one is a price saver and normally purchased by those with about 3 cars at home.

You may try a dash ( very small amount ) of Tufoil with wheel bearing grease and mix/knead very well. Remember not to use too much otherwise the resultant mix will fling.

There is no shelf life for Tufoil. Thanks netmatrix.

Thanks it pretty much answers the questions above. I'll post up my test when i get it inside my gearbox and axle. Thanks.
