Anyway, try to tighten other belts as well, like the alternator, air-cond belts and also don't forget your timing belt. :D

Yup.

how u do it.
keep ur engine running.
hold the candle in aplce then put the candle body to rub wtih the belt.give a little bit of pressure to the belt. the candle body will melt cause of friction and heat.

ei....do it professionally la....buy the Belt Dressing Grease....spray it...settled....coz it desgined for belt noise...ok ?

so actually this noise problems is caused by loosen belt or its too tight ?? cos i read some post up there which said tightening the belt and some pulak put grease, arent applying grease will make the belt more licin?

aiyaaa...check the belt tension...maybe too loose...retighthen it...can DIY what...but becareful, got to know the exact tension...
too tight...will 'putus'
too loose...willl eeeeeekkkk sound

Don't use oil on the belt. There's friction on the belt for a reason. To rotate the pulleys. Go to the mechanic to tighten or to change the belt. Belt dressings work for a month or two but I suggest it changed as it might break.

Oh, it's not a timing belt. Prolly a alternator, fan or power steering.....

normally, it is aircon belt. i changed it, the noise gone. after 3 months, it came again.
i retightened it, it gone again. :D

maybe u owes wack ur engine KAU KAU ba...so all d belt loosen oledi....maybe u din off ur a/c when u wack...hehe...rite?

try to tighten it n spraty wit belt dressing grease.....smoother n no noise....good
