drivin a stock 4afe but i have changed my timing belt recently, or the belt connected to the cam pulley (correct me if im wrong); whenever i ignite my car, the squeeky n irritating noise would arise n been drivin to my mechanic few times n they still couldnt find out wats the problem.. wat they hav done was just pryin the steel of power-steering-fluid-holder further away fr the belt; but strangely the noise would go off after drivin around then arise again whenever i started off my car engine..

the noise would arise when i turn my steerin when idle or cruisin at really slow speed as well, so all experienced car enthu or mechanic in here, plz give me a hand in here plz

ur power steering pump is be powered by a belt that is connected to the crankshaft.check that.

got sound only when u turn ur steering?

the belt tighten? or too tight?

if sound comes whne turn steering..it only with the power steering pump area.....

any leaking? check the belt (either lose or too tight)...fluid level?

Try applying some silicon spray or candle wax to ur belting.. its maybe too tight oledi..

i think its the belt problem as well, coz i can see rather dusty in that area.. suspect the dust was originate fr the friction of the belt towards sum metal or other object in that area..

no leakin anywhere worr..
