Idle Time

Good afternoon to all the swift gurus around :D ,

I was just wondering, anyone here having problems with their idling time?

My engine's idling time is weird as sometimes it starts at 1000rpm... sometimes when i'm driving halfway it goes up to 1500rpm.. and it might drop again to 700rpm

this is really irritating and causing me a big headache.. because when it goes up high feul burns more and my exhaust makes a hell lot of noise.. and when it drops.. the engine will die off when i'm changing gears in between (ppl might think that i don't know how to drive if they don't know that i have such a problem)

grr.. i need advise on what i should do!

p/s: i've just overhauled.. port&polish my engine too.

Any chance of having a vacuum problem?

If i not mistaken, the hoses does play a role on keeping the engine to idle.

Ermm...my bro having sort of the samething, but after doing servicing on the throttle body, it does make a lot of different...

vacum of might be AFS problem... sometimes check light doesn't appear when ur sensor got prob...(i've experienced that!)

also try to tuned ur car (tuned machine)

well, thank God the engine is now tuned in a way that engine won't die off easily..

however, the idle problem is still on...

AFS? air flow system? how do i fix that? my 'check engine' comes out and never goes off before i start the engine... can that be one of the problem? :P

Air Flow Sensor Chip. Attached at the air ramp of the air filter laa....

Can get one. Sufi, story a little bit.
