Soundstream s. woofer XS12 ( Xtream Series)

Hi,

Anybody use this sub before? Plan to get 1 pair for my ICE setup..
RM700/pair izit cheap? what is the market price? Hard bass or soft bass.?
sorry to ask a lot of Qs.. need to know b4 making a decission..

Before u jump into conclusion that this sub is cheap n good, why don't tell us whats ur setup, whether u like to be ahbeng kaki or sq kaki,maybe then i might be able to help u a lil bit.

SPL- loud speaker
SQ - not loud ler...

I guess i like both setup.. sometimes want to hear loud bass comes from my rear bonnet.. & sometime.. want to enjoy a nice sound..

CURRENT SUBS.. pioneer VCCS ( koyak sikit) + Boschmann both 12" - plan to change coz the bass is too hard for me.. i like soft bass..

i think the hard bass is partially your tuning problems, ur amp and ur subwoofer problems. If i were u i will change the subwoofer to Peerless xls and the amp to Phd 2200. Otherwise don't expect a lot of improvement if u only change the sub. :regular_smile:

maybe u can look around for soundstream exact subs, those are SQ-ish type subs compared to other soundstream models

amp and box is very very important on subwoofer performance.
yes pls don think soundstream only all SPL, it also produce SQ sub like upper or the lower Xs12 sub,

rm700 for a pair???? are you sure? so cheap mah where sell?
market price for SS xs12 is about rm1300/pair

from lelong.com.my.... don't know its original or not ...
I don't mind if the speaker made by other country ( but not form MIC..made in china) as long as it comes out from Soundstream factory... mexican...spain...

now hv to put the project on hold...

a lady drive Potong Wira hit my car from the back at traffic light yesterday...
hv to send my car for repair & claim insurance form her......what a day...:sad_smile:
