Planning to get a 16inch rim for my stock standard Wira 1.5

few questions here

1) How much on average does Advanti 16inch rims would cost?
2) Most will say it will affect my petrol consumption, but if i get the rims whose weight is similar to the 13inch rim, will it still affect my consumption ? Anyone knows wats the weight of each rim for a stock standard wira 1/5
3) Do you guys buy extra another rim for emergency or just make do with 4 rims, in the case of emergency in the highway, it surely affects you rite ? Or issit possible to just buy a cheap 16inch rim ?

1) dunno ler... u want replica or real one??..
2) yes, it will still some how affect ur FC even with same weight rims with ur 13" rims... but if u can manage to get same or lighter rims, the difference isnt vr much noticeable...
3) nope... u can jz make do with 4 rims... u can alwiz use back ur original rims as spare, as long as u didnt do any brake upgrades where ur 13" rims wont fit anymore... jz make sure u dont drive fast and travel long distance with such spare tyre... get it changed immediately...

hmm.. to be on de safe site bro.. for wira 1.5 stock i think go for 15 inch rims enough lo.. if not ur car sure loss power in pick up.. jus a word of opinion.. :regular_smile:

Hello bro,

1) I don't really know the price.

2) Not only weight will affect your consumption. The tyre width will. The wider the tyres, more friction. More friction = more power lost but good grip. 13" 175/60/R13 - 14" - 185/60/R14 - 15" 195/50/R15 - 16" 205/45/R16 or 215/45/R16 this is what normally people use. a jump from 175 to 205. 30mm width. You will feel the effect. Last time my 1.3 from 13" to 15" also feel a little sluggish.

3) Any spare tyre will do.

Go for light weight 15" rims. Balance everything, looks, consumption, performance and even tyre prices.

Yeah, get it lowered but not too lowered. If you have the budget, go for adjustables. If not, then go for sport springs while using your stock absorber. GAB, APEX, EIBACH, APM, SAPURA LEDA, CHAP AYAMS and etc...:_: Until you like it.

Our brother sky here sure can give good comments. I see his car go through corners can know the car tuned up suspension already. Not like stock standard like want to overturn. Steady only...
