yes its true.....even the older NSX-R manages was a good rival to the R32 n R33 on the tracks......on paper spec, u would think tat there's no way an NSX can rival a skyline.....try watch back some past episodes on Best Motoring n u'll notice tat the NSXs has very very quick laptimes.......all stock standard cars lar......Mines modded, MCR modded, J's Racing or watever not included k.....cheerzzzz

on a tight track,i think an STi Spec-C and an Evo9 FQ340 would give a stock Skyline GT-R a good run.NSX-R will be close too..

If skyline is sooo unbeatable and you guys worship it god-like, why nismo is using fairlady now? no point talk bout this topic man. every car has it's own attraction. i hate it when ppl compare cars around, especially when they are in the same familly. like it if your relatives compare between you and your brothers? race in downtoen kl or penang georgetown during the daypart i bet my ex-5 can beat the skyline in travelling speed.

Kind of fed-up talking, JeanLoo. Car is used to compare for best price and best performance and reliability. Even people still keep comparing whether want to get Altis or want to buy Vios.

In the cent of racing car, no doubt for JAP car, Nissan is having the best power on top. Honda has the best technology on top and Toyota has the high reliability.

People is not talking about racing car in the street. In fact you uses a 500+HP car on the road, do you dare to race? if really want to race with an ex-5 by using skyline, i think ex-5 will lose too. At the very first place, ex-5 will get crush by skyline already due to unstable pickup and drag to a side. :X-:

State what you likes, but don't ever comment people's favourate.

the thread whereby who's the best; who can beat who, which car can beat which car, who's the fastest.....etc would always cause havocs.
R32 had dominated GT races and I think Australia once banned skylines from entering their touring race.
Anyway, the word is that R32 is still the best skyline ever. Than again this comment would again bring out lotsa favourable vs unfavourable comments. cos everyone has their right to their own personal opinions.
But anyways, in GT; Supra and NSX is always the next contenders to skylines.

Unless a specific conditions or rules are set to determine this type of comparisons; everyone has their own assumptions and assumptions would side their opinions on who's faster. SO overall......which car is the fastest?! (refer to am_izham's comparison)

So I do agree with jeanloo on his quotes. No point arguing on something that u can't really have a justified result.

All we could say is Skyline is indeed fast. Fullstop!

Jap car i would say is Evo, while no jap car i would say its Bowler Wildcat, also a 4wd jeep but very powerful n high speed.

I know I stupid to comapre EX-5 here lar. But It is because someone actually mention must compare also on what road condition the car race on mah. When it come to a GT-R, the main characteristic is that it must be a monster racing machine, and yet legal on the STREET. Keyword and COOL factor => STREET. But here in Malaysian road, any Supra, RX-7 is also enough d lar. I said my EX-5 is faster than both cars on travelling speed is a homour to laugh at the traffic jam in the city mah.

Just like what Zeroed said, the nsx can beat the R34 on the track, and also drag. Ive seen the video many times, from best motoring i think. Both in standard form. And the videos i watched, is the old nsx type S, not even the new NSX-R

boon- you're right. any purist would like to jump on the bandwagon and start bashing. there is no such thing as better faster etc etc. its all about what you really want. We can argue which one kuku is bigger, better until the cows come home but in actual fact it personal preference.

the thing is; we're always comparing something abstract...that's when problem arises. Abstract in my example is like this:
If you put Alonso or Schumacher in a Minardi F1 car. Would u still think they would win the race?! Than again if u put a normal person on a Ferrari or Renault F1 car, would he win the race?! ABSTACT ler.....kekekeke
