Silvertop and its limits

How much increment of power? This is very subjective.
with 4 throttle and without the restriction of air flow from plenum cover, definitely you get more air in your engine which is good for combustion but, do you have enough fuel? This normally happen when you utilize stock ECU with open plenum, you'll face slight hesitation on the acceleration. Imagine the sudden air surge into engine when you accelerate 20V engine, the AFR will become very lean for a second or two, that is the hesitation point, then it will continue to accelerate as normal.
You definitely don't want this condition happen when you going for 400m spin because it can kill you initial momentum. Solve the slight hesitation and you'll get real power increment.

what would u suggest to fix the fuel problem?
bigger injectors or more fuel pressure.

Fuel pressure regulator won't fix the problem because it increase the whole fuel rail pressure, It will make the mid and high end AFR become higher, thus you'll lose the engine fast respond by doing so.

The simple and cheap way to fix that problem is by using the SAFC but it's not solve it thoroughly because when you increase the fueling to fix the problem in some certain RPM, it apply to the whole engine load point. Your fuel consumption will be slightly higher if you solve it by using SAFC but at least the problem solve.

1 more question.
the hesitation would still remain if i left the air box and not run ITBs??

ITB = individual Throttle Body.
I don't really Understand what do you mean.

Do you mean running with the plenum (air box) on?(I assume so) If in that case, no more hesitation.
Because there will not be sudden air surge in the combustion camber.

yep thats what i meant and thank you for this advice. if my slivertop ecu dies again and cant get 1 i now know that i can use a BT ecu and harness.

I got a spare one. You know who to look for if you need one :smokin:

well i got it repaired already the capacitors were leaking and about to blow so i had them replaced, no problems so far but i'm swapping to BT cams in a few days theres a pesky 4efte giving my friends some trouble on a 400m, i want to take him on some corners see if he can keep up with me
