Get the damn gsr head.
Its worth it. The intake side is much bigger. Exhaust slightly.
Which means its retains power in da engine thus better response.
Sorta big mouth small asshole. The fart is goes out faster rite.
Mine is ported bout 2mm larger at the intake side.
Port anymore and the head will blow.
 
Twin carb hard to tune leh..
Fuel consumption also very syok.
Suggest not to tamper so much wif carb.
Sensitive component and expensive to repair.
 
agreed...kalau tak reti...leave it to the experts...

motorbike one carb only...can la...in the end cannot get proper setting, upload into van and bawak pegi kedai....heheheh

guys..u guys know any dashboard that can fit our car, with front passenger airbag?

my dashboard, itu tempat adjust aircond, two of them fallen off already. any suggestion??really annoying laa...got sound sommore from inside dashboard. when u rev in neutral, up to 3k rpm only got GRRRRRRR sound after u release throttle..bengang laa...

ya...i know..thats what i did..heheh..but since bike's carb is a single carb..i lanyak the venturi and made it bigger..then change to bigger jettings..walaaa..hehehe..my friend did it to his bike..i was just helping him..

bout benifits i dunno cause i personally never tried putting gsr head on n/a 4g93p before. but 'they' say the intake or exhaust ports (forgot which one.. i think intake) is bigger then the n/a variant. so put the gsr head kira macam dapat port and polish done. plus the ports are factory manufactured so no worries about port sizes being uneven/unbalance and etc. but use back ur n/a cams as they are more suited for n/a engines... lain lain i dunno already.

Please someone conclude above quotes for me !! Issit the head PLUG AND PLAY or have to do anything ? Issit get the GSR head worth RM???(Ini abang KryPTon boleh nego punya) and just go to workshop and change with my 4g93p head ?

my opinion la...but check with an experience mech to be sure..

like krypton said, its like getting port n polish, but better, coz u dont hav eto worry bout the inbalance sizes. so if that's the case, i think its plug and play.

BUT, the main concern is whether it is right to leave the fuel and api (spark plug) setting as it was, before u change coz logically bigger intake means u have to "feed" it with more fuel and more fuel means the need for the engine to burn fuel increases, thus std spark plug / cable is not applicable anymore.

BUT it also depends on how much bigger it is as compared to ori...kalau slightly only i think ori parts are still applicable. just play with the setting...

just my 2 cents though.

try la...paling teruk pun pecah engine, bulih tukar seketul...turbo terus!!! hhuahauhuahuahuhuhua...

found my old friend in engine and performance thread, selling "decarbonizer". he actually tried it out on his peugeot 406 and the result is instant and impressive!

what do you guys think? one bottle is RM68...anyone interested, just let me know. recommended 2 bottles together - one into fuel tank and one into engine. will clean everything....

maybe if we group purchase he can give special price...

anyway, guys, got an inquiry from a friend - drivinga savanna rx7 (1st model ), nicely restored and good running condition. if i'm not mistaken, this ol' skool monsta is runnin on a rotary under the hood...

the problem is, the heat from engine is entering the cockpit - teruk! worst when afternoon, really like you're being barbecued!

how to overcome this? the bonnet got no hood. i already suggested to him to lift his bonnet a bit to let the hot air flow. will this do? is there anything else that we can suggest to him?

Yah..problem solved. Much better now. I've noticed lagginess 2 days before the TT session. Didn't think it was because of this 2 items. Took like 1hr just to open the fuel filter nut. Damn tight. Shows how long it wasn't touched.
Thought it was some tuning issue.

Working on my revenge now. I would be fine if that F***head wasn't so lan ci.
Now he seriously pissed me off!!
