i think this bro pisces23 is 1 of victor regular customer who're a ICE enthusiastic. by the way thanks bro alex manage to meet victor today, what i can say about him is he is knowing what he is doing which compare to majority of the accessary shop stuff or even owner.. really impressive with what he is teaching me what is ICE, frankly speaking i only can catch 1 point is he is setting up a ICE system with a SQ from home theater system, which i really impressive after listening to his demo car (his own waja). damn really poison

Its a sony MX4520 2 chn bridgable amp

is it a typo? Don't you mean XM4520?
if it is indeed XM4520, the spec says its a 45watt RMS x 2 at 4ohm. 110 watt RMS when bridged with 4 ohm.
the manual was printed in 1993.
if it really is just 45W RMS, it's better suited to power your front components. You might just need an amp for your sub. If you don't plan on getting an electronic x-over, make sure that your new sub amp have a low pass x-over built in.

Hmm, it was labeld as MX lols. SO i just use that to power up my component and get another amp, if i am to buy another woofer. Ok, thanks guys.

One more thing, subwoofer and woofer, are they the same? They both are for bass, but whats the diff really?

Subwoofer can play lower frequencies down to around +/-20hz, depending on the enclosure.
Woofers normally go down to 50hz, with some exceptional ones going down to 35hz.

I would not to meet him his week, properly by beginning of next month, coz i oledi order a 1farad mundorf cap from him and 2 pair of 3M VDH RCA cable 4 my audiosystem amp. Later will go for VDH 12AWG speaker cable and audiocontrol EQL..

So when u go to meet him just let me know...hahahha..cheers..

what's the sub model? :)
1. either the old school amp is actually a good/powerful amp.
2. you're underpowering your sub.

Thats what i thought too, but it can actually really blast, i mean as far as i know la. ( my knowledge in ice is not good :D ) but its ok for me.
