R3 Track Experience

Pasir Gudang, despite the Tyre Shredding surface, is one heck of a circuit. In a Satria R3 (stage2) it is a circuit that begs to be attacked.

Turns 2 & 3 a flat-out in 4th over crest left hander that's followed by a braking area into a tightening Turn 3 (left) is an eye opener.

Turn 6 is another one, Downhill flat in 4th, you lift-off ( or dab the brake a little, depending of grip, speed and bravery). Turn in, hug the apex as the car slides to the exit, which is climbing again, keeping it tidy to carry the speed into the uphill lft-right of Turn 7 & 8.

As you reach a crest (where you only see sky), you have to slow down just beyond it coz , here comes the tight right-left (downhill) chicane (9&10) climbing over the rumble strip to carry the speed to the final turn 11 ( a gentle curving left) into relatively tight right turn 12`

The grea thing about PG is that the turns either apex at a dip or over a crest.

In other word BRUTAL.

my absolute favourite thing about that track. spent a good amount of time there as a wee lad since my elder brothers pretty much made it their second home :P.

Last time I was riding passenger was in my brothers evo5 :P. that was balls scary hahaha.
