Forget about tracing IP's. Forget about who recorded the video. Forget about who was the first one to spread the video.
We should all debate....
- why in the very first place, a strip and search was performed in a room that is not secure?
- what is the justification of this strip and search?
Lots and lots of news coming out on the papers but really, how much more can we believe the police force anymore. The police said to "BACK OFF" and don't crucify the police force just because of a few bad eggs. Do they think we have forgotten about the past issues, like...
- chinese coupled summoned for holding hands in KLCC
- having road blocks for the wrong reasons
- not attending to a police call by a citizen immediately. Always come late even though the police station is just 5 minutes walk away
- giving summons to people who are not obstructing anyone and NOT giving summons to those who ARE TOTALLY obstructing everyone
- asking us to pay to view the photos, when we get speeding tickets. That is if we want to confirm that it is our vehicle. Is the paying still in effect? We should not even pay at all. For all you know, it could be some fake speeding ticket.
- always protecting the motorbikers even though they are TOTALLY wrong
- asking for and taking bribes. Some by manipulating the citizen's mind, some even by force. I've even heard that by force, they ask the suspect to go ATM and take the money.
- Not nabbing those lorries and buses driving on the middle and fast lane. And it's still SO FUCKING RAMPANT!
- Not bothering about petty crime reports like snatch theft, car break ins, house robberies
Honestly, I've came across friendly cops but never once a helpful one, or one enough to get my full support of the force. It is not that we are generalizing on the entire police force. It is not that we want to think bad of the police force. It is not that we decide to think that way. Rather, many of them have already showed us that way, so we naturally will tend to think that way.
Put it the other way around. If cops always attend to your calls immediately, we will be that bit happier and will give thumbs up to them. Of course, if they have no more officers in the station, they should be able to at least guide us on what to do, or help us how to contact the next nearest station or whatever.
But now, the damage is done. Everything is now out in the open. Very open, in fact, to a point that the entire planet knows about it. I apologize but I would have to say this.
They brought it upon themselves so they should not blame the public for their comments.
