need help on engine rev ** weird experience**

glad to hear that ur problem has been solved...i'm still waiting to fix mine...lately the problem seems be have disappeared by it's own but another problem came up...in the morning when i start the car n move till the nearest traffic light, as i put it to N or P, the rpm will go crazy...it'll rev automatically up to about 2500 rpm and drop again...it keeps on revving up and down till i put it back to D...anyone eperienced this before? damn i hate auto tranny...btw how much does it cost for u to flush the gearbox? n wat oil are u using now?

wow, seems like you have got auto rev..hehe...sounds like high cam..anyway, it costs like around RM 500 at the service centre...maybe you can find some other source outside...the oil that i used was genuine honda gearbox oil..please let us know the update bro...

the litres i think was around 16 to 18....anyway, right now im having another issue...
whenever i am driving with or without my aircond ON, after some time, the engine check light comes ON. When it happened the first time I really freaked out coz at that time i was goin around 140 - 150 km/h...then i pulled over and let the car rest while checking for loose sensors or sumting but everything was OK..when i restarted, the light dissappeared. Suspecting sumting big is gonna screw up, i took my car to HONDA and told them the issue. They said that it was the knock sensor which was faulty. However, they suggested to me to reset the ECU and see if it works. So they reset the ECU but sadly after 2 days the problem re occured.. this time i was going around 90 km/h onli...anybody has had this problem before?maybe no but feel free to share your thoughts...

since the day i last posted, i dun get all the problems occuring...so i dunno whether to leave it or to troubleshoot the problem 1 by 1...and i've been to a mechanic lately during routine service and checked wit him the problem...even he dunno wat's the problem...anyone can recommend any honda specialist workshop?

did u do the flush at honda's service centre? 500 is a lot...hmmm...maybe i'll wait till the problem occurs again then i'll go fix it...ahahaha....if not save money for transplant...then all problem solved!

You can go to more competent honda service centre..they have ecu reader so can detact wut is the prob....back then, mine was o2 sensor loacted at exractor...the symtom same like yours..i have to pull over and off my engine to shut the engine check light but after a few minit it came again

TPS = throttle position sensor,...
located at the throttle body
