need help for my engine...

hi..im newbie here..

i really need help to upgrade my engine. im using proton tiara with citroen AX GTi 1.4 multi-point injection engine. this engine has low horse power but high torque. the power only can be shown at 5000-6500 rpm.
so, what can i do to make the engine more power..

You can always go for the normal mods first....open pod filter,extractor,piping.

play with that first till u get bored and then think of other upgrades :_:

oic..but when i driving at low rpm, the car was really bad and when driving at high rpm that car was superb. something like vtec system.. so how can i solve that ? thanx

its nothing like vtec system. vtec actually improves low end power, without it you either have to choose high end power or low end power, not both.

i dunno much about citroen engine, but if it doesn't have any cam phasing or cam profiling tech, you are pretty much stuck with power in one power band (but you can tune it to your liking).

personally i do prefer power on the top, yet got just enough power to move the car at low rpm. cuz when need power just pop it into 2nd gear and all the way whack 7k+rpm.

I think u should go for the basic mods first and try it out....open pod filter,extractor,piping..............if u dont mind the noise that is.

It'll definitely effect both your low end and high end power.

oic..thanx guys..btw... i heard some contis car have high rev.. what it means by high rev ?
