Greetings to everyone out there. can anyone please help me out by giving some suggestions or tips on how to increase the hp of my stock 1.3 wira, it's a fuel injection engine. i do heard a lot of modification stuffs out there that can increase the hp but still i need some tips for reliability..hahah. hope u all can help me and a lot of thanks in advance.

cheers.

some basic low budget tips:
  • change to aftermarket air filter (drop in or open pod you decide)
  • change to aftermarket spark plugs (Iridium types perhaps)
  • change your exhaust piping, extractor (4-2-1 or 4-1 depends)
  • use good engine oil (recommended Full Synthetic)

these are my 2 cents, of course you can change engine or bolt on to increase your hp massively, but my opinions are on low budget tips.

-change 4-2-1 extractor, change iridium s.plug, use open pod air filter,do skim ur flywheel, racing clutch, use lighten crank pulley, change hi cam.sure increase hp  ma 2 cent

-plug in torobo make ur engine broken,so do not intend to do it

Or you can even change the cams! Powerzone or matspeed are quiet recomended... dude there are alot of threads like these tho, why not look around and get ideas?

i think better go to 1.5 block/piston..

what yeehau86 said chaging the stuff required would be a start as a beginner.. but it only makes the engine lighter n breathe easier... n the cost would go more than RM 500 easily for those parts.. synthetic oil u hv to maintain from there on n the plugs as well...

yea 1.5 block and piston is a very good choice but on the other hand need to go for inspection if change the whole block..
so try rebore ur current block and upgrade the 1.5 piston to it
