My Tribunal Cases.

nope i dont blame samsung, but their distributors & their staffs...

i emailed this case to samsung & yoobao but did not email to 3s mobile care as i didnt
want their staff to find out yet. let samsung inform them haha...

my current battery is 1500MAH, therefore i bought yoobao 5200MAH, as claimed by the samsung salesman that
were selling yoobao products, the unit supposed to charge my phone 3 1/2 times......i asked is it true or not? he said yes.

does this applies to phone off or on all the time? he said phoned turned on also can......i was like WOW sure boh???
ok la buy....

ended up only able to charge my phone twice before the power banks need to be recharged.

i was like WTF>.......thats y i was made & returned the product.

but when the yoobao sales person called me up yesterday, she told me that that its only supposed to charge my phone twice same as i experienced. i said then why the samsung salesman told me that it would be able to charge 3 1/2 times? cos he lack or product knowledge?

anyways will wait till tmr nite to collect my power bank from them & see wat happens.

Advise is not to use the plug that they give, mine burnt dunno how many times, but lucky
powerbank no problem. We bought in bulk with a few people since in bulk cheaper...

I'm using blackberry charger to charge the Powerbank, takes longer to charge
but at least wont the plug wont burnt. Not sure why, even the seller dunno why but replaced
many of those plugs for us already.

So far, the Powerbank can charge about 2-3 times. But we were told can charge up to 10 times
instead  didnt really pay attention on how many times yet though.

But anyway, it helps, 2 - 3 times for me and my gf share is enough. Our phone 24 hours on.
And it charge my phone up pretty fast.

I have one exchanged from credit card points. Energizer unit, also charge my phone twice only, by mine I think is 4000maH only....

SF,
yeah i also prefer to use the samsung usb charger to plug into the power bank rather than using theirs, the connector always
tercabut....

vr2.
i think yours is emergency charger, same concept as power bank but yours uses alkaline batteries rite....?

It is sealed, but remember written Lithium Ion battery.....

if its rechargable then yes its a power bank.....
cos i remembered last time i had a charger that uses 1xalkaline batt & able to charge your phone once during emergency.

Tercabut is one of it, most of the time when longgar a bit, the charge unit head will fused.
So dare not use adi after fused for 3 times even after changing the charger head plug.

Those original chargers lower amps, so take longer.

Yup, the power bank have two outlet 1A and 1.5A, so I always use 1A only just in case....

updates..
just got back my power bank last fri, it was a new model but still same 5200MAH.
the manager was not there when i collected it, his staff passed it to me & went off.

still awaiting samsung to reply.

Recently my gf got quite hooked up with online shopping & have bought quite a number of stuff via Groupon with most of them being delivered within the stipulated time & without much incident except for a mop that she ordered over 2 months back.

When the mop did not arrive within the stipulated delivery time frame, we started writing to the vendor & copied to Groupon to get some commitment from them on when exactly will the product be delivered. All these while, only Groupon replied us while the vendor kept quite but then seems that Groupon was unable to control & get the vendor to deliver the god damn mop. Finally, i got really pissed off & asked my gf to write to them again & give them a deadline to either deliver the product to our door step or refund the full amount by end of the week, failure to do so in which we will lodge an official complaint with the consumer tribunal as well as going public to let others know how unreliable Groupon are.

Groupon then replied & informed that they will process the refund but politely asked for a time extension to process it. What happened next was really surprising for us:

Groupon sent us a transaction slip stating that the money have been credited back to to my gf's CC account & will take some time to clear & at the same time that stupid vendor delivered the mop to her. All these while the stupid vendor kept quiet & never bother to reply despite that all correspondence were directed to them & replies copied to them but yet as the refund is being processed, they sent the product.

So now, you get free product?.......

On this Groupon thing. I did buy a few things also, but please read the fine prints. So far, delivery is not a problem, but got one deal for food from a restaurant. Normally a meal will cost my family of 4, say somewhere around RM70, so when this deal was on it cost around RM40, so we bought it. But when we went to the restaurant, drinks, rice and appetizer were not included. In the end we paid another RM30 for them, therefore the meal came back to RM70.
Nowadays, we read carefully, like drinks, service & govt. tax and so on whether included or not.
Another is those 50% off vouchers. You buy many, thinking of enjoying more food, but the fine print mentioned one voucher per receipt, so you cannot use more then one voucher.....:banghead:
