Hydrolocked Neo CPS now under going some internal mods

Stable vacuum level is a good sign for good compression and no abnormal leak over the piston rings.

Did about 40km so far. This was taken at exactly 20km from the 'resuscitation'.

rm3000 oni. consider cheap. how about labour charge? 0.1mm, how to measure? now is rainning season, for who have CAI, pls be careful

Labour included. Crank deformality can be detected once it's on the balancing jig, not by naked eyes or any hand-held measuring tools.

Drex, if the crank shaft is still good so the cost will be less than 3K with the labour included loh...not a bad price.

I sense that the engine could still have more internal upgrades. Drex what else can be upgraded if 1 choose to do this? I mean what other available parts that 1 can still put in during the rebuilding process. Rods, bearings.etc
 
for bottom end you may do the dynamic and static balancing for crankshaft, conrod, piston n the ring and maybe can use floating piston pin if the machine-shop know how to make/machining it...
at last use racing bearing for conrod n main if available la...

how is the Dyno result? by the way is stock injector is good enough? or need to upgrade.
 
Flushed the engine lubricant and replaced the oil filter few days ago. It's getting smoother everyday. Time for a dyno chart..

I didn't really mean that it's risky. But it takes a very precise machining skill to get the depth and width right. The holes on the piston also needs to be enlarged, while the piston pin needs to be grooved. The lock pin also has be has similar heat expansion.

If it's manufactured that way, absolutely no issue. But I don't feel peace using a modified one.

that's why i also thought only bernard famous in engine rebuilt nvr thought EA can go this far even after open for 1 year.....

The owner pandai-pandai went upgraded his camshaft before sending the car for a dyno test..

Even if we dyno the car later, the information wouldn't be useful to us already. :(
