hey, just wondering and its kinda a weird one. but is there an actual proper way to tape your head lights and tail lights before a race on a track? i've been wondering about it for a while now. all i've really seen are x's on head lights and tail lights. and what kinda tape do u use? not that i really need to know just wondering. and yeah i know its used to keep the shattered lens shards from littering the track. any takers?

any thick masking tape can do. normally some will use the vinly ones.

So I shall tape ALL my wind screens X as well.

If that's the case, I think mat rempits should tape X across their entire head also. This is so that their dirty brains don't spill on the road when they die of a horrific accident. We don't want useless people's blood on the road.

I used to think that they taped their headlights to prevent too much light coming out and thus blinding the driver in front. Now I know....

I bought some Neon Orange Tape from a Japannese Book shop and it works fine. Its not a requirement though coz the MSS scrutineering guys never bother to check if the front and rear lights are taped.
