for proton, last time was rm1000 probation up to 6 months. then after confirm only got 2.4k. thats for no working experience. even you got a masters they wont give a shit.

VSS stands for Voluntary Seperation Scheme..usally happens during economic crisis whereby the company pays a lump sum to its employees to resign voluntary from the company..

My previous boss want to send me to SAP certification but i quit...stupid rite? That time i was having an offer in china so i quit then they thought i am bored with the job and decided to send me for a 1 month course in SG on SAP, but i still quit

I applied before, and they always call me up for the preview thingie before u actually registered.
Than I was like so busy during that half year so never went too..
the course itself is not expensive, but the certification is!
I got a friend who is very lucky.
He went into his father's ex company and take up SAP. Work around 2 years and got certifications (I think 4 papers out of total of 12 ah...). Moved to IBM for 1-2 years too than now become freelance...
earning 5 figures now as a freelance contractor.

I heard with SAP, even fresh grad can get arnd Rm3k pay... which is quite high cmpared to other industry taking into account you don't have any experience

my ex colleague said that course worth rm8k. 1 month intensive course with 5 days per week lecture. Company paid all and give me 1 month study leave...but i didnt go for it.

well 8k still ok. To get truly certified in Six Sigma, it cost me nearly rm20k. from basic course to register.

only minimal companies in the world is classified as 6 sigma compliant.
I know Motorola practises 6 sigma..........hhhmmmm; that's the only 1 I know.

there are quite a handful of companies practice six sigma, including nokia, samsung, citibank, bank of america....etc

but now many firms also adopt six sigma with Lean.

working in Six sigma line is tough...majority of the HR hiring Six sigma ppl dont really recognise its not totally a QA job, but its a strategic tools which can apply to new product develop and strategic management approach.

I have been spending long time to tell the HR what the actual job description supposed to be for a Six Sigma black belt...they should priority the project skills first, the industry experience in a particular field is secondary, because the Six sigma project could be a computing system implementation , business transaction,production improvement or marketing strategy formulation...but many are too focus on the industrial skills rather than the project skills, so end up many SS projects in Asia are not up to standard because the project leaders are too focus on the particular field and the potential of the SS cannot be fully utilise within the organisation
