fiat marea (1998)

hi, my father own a car (fiat marea 1.6 (year 1998)) this car had some trouble (hard vibration when start). i had send this car to torrino in hulu kelang and it cause me RM3K++ but the problem not yet been solve.

i'm searching for other mechanics (fiat expert) outside there. anybody know any fiat specialist in damansara or kl area. need help & advise. tq

i think u should replace your engine....serious...get the 2nd engine...much affordable..

there are 2 fiat/alfa specialist workshop at my area at PJS1, PJ,
i usually go to ah meng....although slightly expensive but his workmanship is marvellous......the other 1 is a bit lansi.....
for parts i buy from jln ipoh...or tanlee in singapore.

milage only 90K++...how much if replace engine? ---bro...u kidding??? mileage just 90k...aikk...kinda wierd for 12 yrs car...7500km per year..ur panel meter in a good shape or not...still working?? u better find some1 that really xpert to fix it if it thru mile only 90k coz u already spend more than 3k..my opinion get a recond engine will be better....conti engine not so expensive la bro...

sorry not 90K++ it is 190K++, ..anyway thanks to all the reply. anyone got experience in changing engine? how much if recond engine?

i dunno the price, but its kinda hard to find a halfcut......
could u elaborate more on how the vibration occur?

the vibration is very bad when i start the car. it become less vibrate when the gear is in D position. the accelaration is also not good (semput2 when we press the pedal)

ive change my conti zx 1.8 to 16v 2.0 jap spec last 2yrs and recently my 405sri 2.0 8v to 16v 2.0 jap spec...damn powerfull and bargain for conti part..the engine and wiring plus workmanship and few minor wear and tear just cost me around 3.8k...bargain ok!!!

it could be the gearbox mounting & have u checked all the engine mountings?
semput2 could be the spark plug, cables, coil plug....get it checked.

u go to Worldtech, Ah meng in PJS2 near my hse.......
nice guy.....price is quite reasonable....always manage to solve the problem.....
